Finally people will stop using that ridicule insect mount that no one really likes and use only for the utility. If only the ugly goblin robot would suffer the same fate…
I have never seen someone use the water strider for their main mount. Everyone I’ve seen does like me, use it to cross water and then go back to whatever mount they like best.
They said Death knights supposed to be slow but feel very powerful once in range. Death knight became the slowest class in game. Now, how about an elephant on water?
This pic only reinforces my point. Give me a pic with your strider on mainland and I’ll believe you.
All joking aside…
SHUT………………………UP
Giving them more really bad ideas is probably why we’re in this mess in the first place.
I’m picture-sharing incompetent, but this toon, and probably my other 2 120’s, are logged off the game, sitting in Boralus trade market, perched on their striders.
I like the strider, I use it most of the time. I think it’s cute.
Any more ways I can tick you off this morning?
No thanks, I have enough with my worgen ticks
He’s probably the dev who came up with the idea posting in disguise Just kidding, sorta
Well,i always wanted a mosquito mount just to scare folks .Would that be possible with my water strider since it wouldn’t be able to stride the water.
What is so equal about ONE mount that you can gather herbs on?
So much for “equal once again”…whatever that means. And why is it people some people have brain fade when it comes to realizing that all their mounts could ww with potions…totally blowing past the fact they never had to use just one mount to do that with, in the first place. Is everyone making that point typing greek or something?
If you’re honestly trying to compare a mount that passively always has water walking to carrying around hundreds of water walking potions, dismounting, drinking a potion, re-mounting you need to revalue your logic, bud.
Kind of like having to purchase the craftable equipment abilities, if they want to switch from one to another?
And that’s “budette” to you.
Well the other option was take water walking away completely with nothing in return. Imagine how much of a fit entitled players would have if that happened.
Entitled?
I fail to see how wanting something one has grinded/worked for amounts to being entitled. That wasn’t and still is not their only other option. It’s been pointed out many times that they can simply leave the strider alone, like they intend to do with the golem.
It’s more that those of us who ground out the rep and paid the gold ARE entitled to the fruits of our labor. Your memory is short if you have to ‘imagine’ what it was like when it was announced that striders would be limited to waterwalking in their expansions.
I want a water strider
So… get one. They’re still in the game. Grind the rep or wait for timewalking Pandaria to come around again. Or head out to Draenor, get your garrison up and running and do a bunch of fishing for Nat Pagle out there.
Believe that I like my strider? Can’t you see the smile on my face? Or the fact that I have a screenshot of me on my strider? Or that I don’t want his special ability removed?
My strider and I have had many adventures together as we have explored Azeroth. I am not sure why you would think that I am lying about this fact.
You are labeling the wrong people. Those who worked hard farming the rep and gold in order to purchase the Water Strider are not “entitled”. Unless you mean they are entitled to keep the items they worked hard earning because that is the right thing to do.
I use my Strider because I like my Strider. I’m probably more proud of that Strider than any rare mount I got from a random lucky drop. I worked for it and it’s very useful. I like how it looks, I like how it’s low enough to ride through doorways, and I love how my Ugly Bug stands up tall to look down on all the lesser mounts.
Blizzard, you’re not fooling anyone…we all know you hate the fact that this mount allows us to bypass some of the ridiculous terrains you design specifically to slow us down. And you want it removed completely. This is the first step and it’s pretty obvious since you’re releasing it right as flying goes live and everyone forgets about their ground mounts for awhile.
