AND now I have to buy it for all my other char? How is that fair?

Iâve just been questing in Nazmir on toons on 4 different realms, and there was scarcely a single other player there on any of them, let alone massive herds of water striders.
This game is getting more and more deserted and the deciders are still working on driving more and more players away.

My only problem with this is that now we are able to apply multiple items (stirrups, barding, hoofplates) and I would want to be able to retain that ability. As proposed this would greatly decrease the desirability of BS and LW because the demand for their crafted items will plummet.

I see water striders all the time. Looks terrible. Maybe if you played on a high pop realm your experience would be different.
For diversity of mounts, wouldnât making the equipment, per mount, across an account make more sense?
This way the strider ability/ function stays in tact - once we get the water walking equipment, we drop it into our strider and bam, all our characters have access to water walking again.
We would still have the ability to give the water walking ability to other mounts, which I would do in a heartbeat since Iâve never liked the look of the strider. I personally already have about 5-6 mounts in mind that Iâd want to outfit with that item.
On top of all that, I could pick and choose a bunch of other mounts to equip the other items with.
It would even be nice if they gave us the harvesting ability from the sky golem to put on equipment to put in other mounts - FURTHER DIVERSIFYING the mounts used.
We get diversity across the game, and lots of freedom to choose what mounts benefit from the special abilities.

I see multiple mounts used all the time by multiple people. Should they all be nerfed so they are not used any more. Everyone uses they yak to transmog and repair, Every one uses the golem to pick herbs and they are ugly should they be nerfed? See quit a few people using their class mounts would be nice to see some classes on different mount, Should they be nerfed?

Keep the water walking mount as it is and add mount equipment as planned. Thatâs all that needs to be done. No reason to take something away.

I just donât use mount consumables. As an engineer, I got that utterly ridiculous and useless mount accelerator âpotionâ recipe⊠Minor 10 second speed boost, that stuns you if you used to many. The only possible use I can imagine for it is for a class without a ranged ability to ambush a mounted pvp enemy. And even then⊠Probably useless.
Hello, does anybody know what is happening to leather bardings and horseshoes etc. Are they getting taken out of the game and replaced with mount equipment? thank you
Yeah, but now youâd have the ability to use a mount, besides the Water Strider.
I dunno about you, but being stuck using only one mount forever sounds absolutely boring as hell

Well whatâs next? Will they remove Water walking and other like spells from characters now to make the boots a gold sink for the game? What about those other utility potions and such out there now. How long before they are gone so they can add those to mounts for you to buy. This will just start a big snowball of nerfs.

So now we need to go on our main to the anglers to buy an item and mail it to our alt just for the alt to have the same functionality itâs had since the water strider was added? This seems like a bad change for leveling alts.

I going to say they are going to be taken out of the game. If they keep them in you would just have to equip the water boots, by leather bardings and goblin gliders, And the mount equipment they just spent all that time and money on would be completely useless the second in was released.
Blizzard wants us to have less choice, not more.

Normally I herb on this rogue but I changed my herbing profession to my druid to travel form and tank spec. Was kinda frustrating relearning.
I was gonna resub til i saw this change. I have been hating BFA so have been unsubbed for months and was gonna resub since alot of the 8.2 changes seemed great. Then i saw this. To me this is just a manipulative way to sell more tokens. now instead of having one mount with WAterwalking for ALL your toons. You need to spend thousands of gold for aLL your alts? To be fair i dont actually care about waterwalking ⊠i dont have a water strider but this kind of mentality of making subtle changes to manipulate the player base out of more money is sickening to me and now that im out im gonna stay out. This One change alone is insignificant but you have to step back and look at the larget picture and all these little changes add up and amount to death by a thousand cuts. They are trying to milk more and more of their player base for more and more of their money since overall subs have been going down. âŠBTW if u want a great mount system look at guild wars 2.

Then how are you not seeing anyone while questing? With shard-ing and CRZ on a high pop realm? I see people all the time⊠everywhere. (and yes ⊠a lot of them are riding big giant bugs and its looks dumb.
