I would like them to take the special away from the golem and make it mount equipment, itâs ugly makes horrible noise and I see the stupid thing everywhere. I would love to see the uproar when that happens. But hey they did not lose that ability they have it on everything now.

I agre, no mounts should have special effects, as it causes an issue of âYou are forced to use this mountâ
what it should instead be is you do stuff to unlock equipment/buffs for ALL your mounts.
why the sky golem got to keep its, escapes me, but luckily it does not work with other equipment so it is still somewhat balanced.
but that is ONLY herbalisim, compared to water walking which in zones like kultiras makes the entire area so much easier to traverse⌠god its insane.
cause again i dont think you realise, they are not removing anything you worked for, they are making it BETTER FOR YOU!
For you maybe, but seeing a 10 ton elephant or a motorcycle running across water is just plain stupid. A water bug I could see a motorcycle no.

You mean like has been a thing since wotlk when literally every death knight and shaman could make any and all mounts walk across water, even those 10 ton elephants and mammoths and motorcycles.

Well if we are going Immersion>customization and choice.
When you reach level 10 you choose a spec.
you can never respec, that is your spec for life, make a new charecter, cause you cant just go to a person for 2 minutes, pay some money, and suddenly get an entirely new life of training.
so screw your customization and choice to change what talents and spec you chose, cause immersion is the ONLY thing that matters.
You rather be limited to only 1 mount, for every day, for every patch, for every expansion.

I mean looking at your pitiful collection, i guess it makes sense, you dont really have any cool mounts to show off, so you want everyone else to have nothing to show off too.
If you didnât do the grind you shouldnât have it at all. Are you advocating makeing everything purchasable? No need to work for things. Should we make all rep and achievement rewards purchasable?

For those who dont grind it, and dont earn it, they have to pay 20-50x more gold per charecter.
same as it was when the water strider first came out.
If you did the grind, you got the water strider, a mount that for a single upfront cost gave you infinite water walking.
however for those who didnt want to do the grind, they could just farm/buy water walking potions and get the same effect.
or just play shaman/deathknight

other then the fact that while the people who bought potions got the luxury to ride ANY MOUNT THEY WANTED.
those who grinded for water walking were forced to ride a bug.
so really, your the one who wants people to be able to just purchase stuff.
cause those who just purchased water walking got the choice to use any mount they wanted.

If you didnât do the cloak quest, you canât now, itâs gone and so is the humongous quest line that led to it.
If you didnât do the ring quest, you canât now. Itâs gone and so is the equally humongous quest line that led to it.
If you didnât play Legion when new you donât have what was the very heart of your characterâs power (since you got no new abilities or talents) â your artifact weapon.
If you didnât do the Mage Tower when available, itâs gone now and with it the rewards.
Before the mount change, if you didnât grind Anglerâs rep and get the water strider â you still could have at any time.
And since, as someone pointed out, DKs and Shaman could provide water walking ability, itâs not as if it was completely unavailable to players who did not have water striders.

i love how you talk about things being in the game and then removed but then get to the water strider and its not even slightly close to the same, you have no point, and are just using a bunch of buzz words.
You can still get the angler rep, and get the water strider, that HAS NOT CHANGED.

those who wanted water walking mounts, went out and got them.

i was âgiftedâ maybe 6 or 7.
i currently have an additional 11 or 12 max level characters which need to pay for it if they want it.
(along with all my lowbie alts)
we earned it, and now we have to pay for it if we want to use it⌠while all the people who didnât earn it, now get access to it.
