It would not work. They’d either have to give all mounts water walking as an auto, or take away the golem’s ability to farm while mounted and make it an available mount equipment. Right now, the golem is on it’s own because there is no mount equipment equivalent. Rest assured it will be changed (and should like the strider) if a mount slot becomes available that can do the same thing.

What I’m telling you is that in his list of items to purchase from him in Karasong, he sells the BoA water walking item.
In the garrison version of Nat, there is nothing of the sort showing in the list of goods he is selling…
But since he is the purveyor of said item in Karasong for Angler rep striders, I’d think he would be selling same said item in the garrison for those who have the required rep and/or mount from there. But he isn’t currently. That may be the oversight.
Yes. Currently on the PTR any damage, including falling damage, will nullify the water walking ability.
On live, falling damage does not cause you to lose the water walking. You just take the damage and remain buoyant. or maybe die in the fall if you forgot to dismount prior to an exceptionally high altitude from whence you fell.

Both versions of Nat need to be selling a water walking item specific to their own expansions strider requirements.

I’m sorry but this is not okay.
I have MANY alts, and at 50g per ww item, lets just say 50 x 50 =$2500 gold to be able to do now what I can do for free. (because I worked for my strider, blizzard implemented it in game, I did x y and z to acquire it and now to have it taken away and re sold back to me is just WRONG. Honestly this makes me want to quit because I feel I can no longer trust blizzard. At any moment, anything that is fun that I worked hard for can just be taken away to be resold back to me. Not a good feeling at all. Please re think this. Leave the strider as WW without the new equip and let anyone else who wants different mounts WW or who don’t have it benefit from the new system)

It takes only one day to get this rep to exalted on the MoP time walking- which is about to happen soon. It’s super easy to get this strider mount. Even the dailies take only 5 mins a day for 21 days. It’s nothing.
All your alts (over lvl 100) will get a free pair. It’s not like all your alts are going to be constantly switching out the mount gear. It’ll be ok!
I think it is ONLY attached solely to the Angler’s Rep. But it only takes one day to get to exalted so no biggie.
And then they remove the equipment all together because they accomplished their main objective.

Oops wrong person, I was trying to tell you it is based on Angler’s rep only. Not the Draenor thing. But, MoP time walking is coming up and it only takes a couple of hours to go from neutral to exalted with the Anglers, so don’t sweat it. This mount/rep is VERY easy to get.
Source please. Because it seems only ONE toon gets mailed the WW. The rest have to buy it.
All of the characters I copied over to the PTR that were level 100+ received one free in the mailbox.
All characters that I copied over to the PTR, or created, that were below level 100 did not receive one free in the mailbox.
We already had people in this thread that hopped on the PTR, as long as their toons were 100 they got it. Or so they said, but when they made new characters, those toons did NOT get one in the mail.

You get a free pair on all toons over 100 as long as one of them is exalted with angler’s. Just so you know. I promise the sky is not falling! lol
That won’t help my 40 alts that are under level 100 and can currently water walk for free.
Bread and circuses, my friend. Keep looking at the shiny new stuff and pay no attention to what you’re in the process of losing.
