Was told 3.6K GS was too low for H+ on my ret pally

That’s Classic. I linked original Wotlk.

This proves like I said that people in Classic are clearing way more than back then, even with the buffs.

Idc about original.

I care about now.

And the clear rates are trash.

Also the people that make up the clear rates some of them are doing it on multiple toons which the stats also count.

The question is, why is any of that your business?

:person_shrugging:
You clearly said people were as bad as before and that’s false. Moving on.
Clearing on multiple toons is still a minority thing that barely has effect on big numbers when we calculate the amount of groups/guilds. We’re talking about more than double numbers, it wouldn’t even come close.

I ran H+HoS with a 2650gs prot pally last week and we cleared it np. Today I invited a fresh 80 feral to run H+UP.

I try to take one undergeared player in my groups. Why let gear go to waste that can help people? Because you want to finish the daily 3min faster?

Just another example of player cancer in classic.

No you said people are much better than they were back then.

My stance was that they are not much better.

And you’re trolling I got people in my guild who clear up to 4 times a week… That’s huge for the stats.

You can prolly -5-8% off of the people who clear Algalon because it’s the same peoples alts.

Current algon is 38% clear rate.

And people got better that you refuse to face the evidences doesn’t change that. That’s why they keep making the game harder on retail, because releasing the same boss like Classic does even buffed will not offer that much of a greater challenge.

Your guild is a minority, less than 1% of guilds do splits runs. That’s not huge for stats by any grounds. Like I said even if you doubled that number we would still be far of Algalon back then that was around 10%.

We don’t do splits either rofl.

We have people who enjoy raiding and do gdkps.

Which really isn’t in the minority since most people who gdkp do it on alts and main raid in their guild.

The amount of people doing atleast 2 Agalon clears a week is prolly extremely high.

That would be a very small minority too. You really have a perception from the top. People with alts are an exception to start with. An even smaller amount of them clear Algalon. And even smaller amount clear it twice.

You’re trolling.

This is why discussion with you I pointless there is literally no points of anything you accept if it counters what you’re saying.

We have 3 raid teams in my guild and 80% of those people run Ulduar 3-4 times a week.

It sure it’s just my guild doing that because that’s what you need to think to prove your false narrative

I think your world is really small if you think that this is a normal playstyle.
Most guilds don’t have multiple raid groups.
Most guilds don’t raid PTR.
Your guild is in the top 1-5% of guilds.

Players didn’t get better – the hand-holding got better.

Harder content kept getting harder, and the easier content kept getting more easy. Which left most people that just wanted to play something in between not being satisfied.

my comment is directed at Classic primarily, I have zero experience with anything after the launch of Cataclysm.

You didn’t miss anything. The only good expansion after Wrath was Legion.

Classic Legion when.

No,I would argue it’s your world and views that are small if you think the majority of players are only raiding on 1 toon.

Most people don’t spend more time than they need too. Most people are raid logging on one character that might be boosted or a death knight. They might not even have killed Algalon as that takes time. And they might not even clear the raid each week, as that takes time. The simplest phenomenon is often the right one.

So they are playing a game that requires time but in your mind they aren’t devoting time to raid because that takes time.

Your takes seem to be getting worse.

Youve been a carry all expansion
