It can be, hateful cloth 200 comes with set bonus and gem slots, crafted cloth has no slots or bonus, best option for a fresh 80 caster shoulders is heirlooms, so hateful chest and shoulder is definately better than say spellweave and heirlooms.

I just did a boomie alt I just made all the crafted gear myself.

full deadly is 4.2k gs and easy to get as long as you do wg on cooldown
and now furious is coming out so an even bigger boost to your gs

First of all, who looks up logs for dungeons? Second, even if you’re degenerate enough to do so, my Horde paladin has no logs. Third, this character isn’t my main. Fourth, I find it ironic you’re log shaming while hiding on an alt yourself.

This kind of toxic behavior is the problem, not wanting to do dungeons on an appropriately geared character

Couldn’t agree more. I hide my logs for that reason (the toxic log-shaming is just obscene here).
It’s pretty incredible how much hate you are getting for wanting to run H+ as it was intended. The gatekeeping for dungeons and raids have gotten out of hand IMO and this thread is a prime example of what is wrong with the classic player base.

he 232 pvp pieces are mostly worse than the 213 pve pieces, if i switch my warriors boots from furious triumph boots (232 + socket with a 16 str gem) to sudden reprisal (213 crit/haste boots from naxx 25 + socket with 16 str gem), i gain 70 dps

true, but GS is the gatekeep stat… doesn’t matter gear, just GS. It’s pretty obnoxious.

My alts get invited to groups with 5k Ulduar gear leaders so it works just fine for me
logs have never been brought up.

I hold every single dungeon record in the world for classic wotlk and I still get declined from groups, the reality of pugging is just dealing with people who have less brain cells than a chocolate cake

It’s H+… if the player knows the mechanics, GS is secondary. I do admit H+ is more difficult than Naxx but is that really worth gatekeeping?

Like next phase, I’m doing my daily heroic++ on this mage.

I’m not taking anyone who is lower than 5300 GS because I want it to be fast.

But at the end of the day it’s my group and I can to pick who goes.

I’ll probably ask for around 4.6-4.8 min. I also prio having 1 dk dps and try to get a shaman for lust if possible.
