You need to take into account the amount of people playing those specs. Frost dk only reported what, 24 i think it was? Thats not a very big pool to get an accurate feeling…and its prob not going to grow with how well unholy is doing.
Mind you, fury is not too much better at 130. Regardless, derez, i would say its not fair to use the top 1% parse for that fact only. You’re comparing fury to specs that have 24, 19, 13, 7 people actually parsing with them. You have a much higher chance of 1 of those 130 fury warriors doing better than a total of 7 on a spec lol.
Theres just simply not enough data at all to really use a top 1%, or any % for that matter. Bottom line is fury currently sucks for raiding. Period.
Warriors taunt swapping with another tank spec is just LOLGTFO right now. It can’t be done if the other tank doesn’t understand how broken warrior threat is right now.
You disagreeing with someone does not make them disingenuous or insincere. That is a very silly way to view things.
Back that statement up.
This is the only time that using 99 and 100 percentiles is relatively valid. When the data balloons in number, the value of those percentiles rapidly drops. At that point, 90 and 95 will be far more representative in terms of what the spec is realistically and reliably capable of. The very fact that there is so little data is what supports using 99/100 this early on.
Wouldn’t be too concerned about logs man, anything hyper meta is not something the average raider should be too concerned with unless your pushing for Mythic world firsts.
Arms and Fury are hitting hard at least in my raids and M+ I’ve been in.
Arms is also one of the best healer slayers in RBG’s and Arena’s at the moment too.
Legit, just play and have fun we are always a bit low at the start of an expac like you said, we scale with gear homie
This part sucks, as an off-tank or when you’re not tanking, I feel like I have to save shield slam for the exact moment I taunt otherwise I will lose aggro because my other abilities just don’t pull it fast enough. Feels very clunky as a prot warrior doing swaps.
Other than that, warriors aren’t in a terrible position. They could use a dps / threat buff for sure. I wish they would rework ignore pain as well.
Warrior is still the most fun to play, and takes an active brain rather than just facerolling which is why I enjoy it so much.
Have to disagree with this entirely. Think of it from a psychology standpoint… You’re comparing fury, which had 130 parse representation, to a spec that had 7. 1) simply put, fury had almost 200x the opportunity to have a higher dps parse. 2) the people playing a 7 total parse spec are most likely new players or something along those lines not realizing they’re playing a class that has a spec in the top 5.
Having such little data makes it very unrealistic, especially at a top 1%.
You think people clearing bosses in mythic are new or uninformed players.
That is very silly.
This really doesn’t matter that much at this early a stage. So many factors are controlled instead of variable, and numbers are still so low. The focus is almost entirely on killing the bosses, not on parsing.
So you concede what you said was inaccurate and inane.
Absolutely we need some help. I primarily play M+. I also play in a guild with real friends. I am below the meters with just about every dps and sometimes tanks. I was getting matched by a 161 ret paladin (guild mate). Don’t get me started on DKs. They replaced us a long time ago.
