No one has ever told anyone to stop posting. The opinions just get challenged when there’s an apparent hole.
Having a right to voice your opinion is completely separate from having a right to be free from criticism.
Don’t you think us challenging opinions is us voicing our own opinion? Don’t we get that right too?
No, this is not something you get to have an opinion on. This is something the owners of the forums get to tell everyone what the objective fact is.
Can we please get over the level 11 troll crap too btw? You’re posting on a warrior that has killed a couple normal bosses and done a low key or two. Your forum avatar doesn’t have any accomplishments over his.
What on earth is this obsession with the sanctity of opinion. Yes, you have an opinion, congratulations. This is a discussion forum. Opinions get attacked. They get analyzed. If they’re about something measurable and falsifiable, then they get proven or disproven. If you just want everyone to state their opinion and…that be the end of it, then stop replying and reading responses. Make a post about a subject, state your view, and then ghost it.
The thing is… it’s not bad in PvE. It’s just very average.

It’s cause arms went from 80% haste to 15-20(if you’re lucky) haste. Our mastery changed too, the whole of Arms in PvE changed quite a bit. Azerite/Essence are all gone now that gave arms really big buffs and full rage during burst, several times a fight.
People wanted a slow and heavy hitting arms spec, the issue is, without rage you don’t get that damage.
Fury is just trash damage though.

This falls squarely under ‘picking fights, insulting other posters’. I can state with near certainty this post will be flagged and likely deleted. You may or may not be actioned as a result. You implied what Derez has to say is worth less because of the character he posts on. You shouldn’t feel shame for posting on a character of minimal accomplishment, but then, if you’re trying to devalue others for doing so, you have to accept that you are also claiming you are of no value.

I can’t personally block people from the forums or delete their posts. That’s the only way to devoice their opinions. What I do, and am entitled to do, is argue against their opinions and point out the issues and inconsistencies with them, as well as in some cases the harm that propagating those voices can do.

Arguments are nothing without premises, and if you don’t have evidence to support your premises, you’re not really using logic. And you’re definitely not using logic. I have never seen a single post by you that went to the issue. You appeal to the sanctity of opinions, you constantly cite popular support, and you make direct attacks at the people disagreeing with you.
A brief glance at your activity log and you don’t actually have posts arguing…anything…except about Derez personally. Besides whining about or attacking Derez, you only have a few posts saying you’ve done very poorly this expac, and blaming warrior tuning as a result. That’s it. That’s all 42 posts. That’s not what logic is.
A side note, the way you constantly have all these big words swimming amidst a sea of constant errors is just hilarious. The fact that you misuse them half the time is just icing on the cake.

What a great idea, please enjoy your echo chamber. It seems a lot of people refuse to take even an inkling of responsibility for their own performance. You can’t blame the class for all of your short-comings.
Unfortunately the idea of “objective data” is pretty much a fallacy. If you take a bunch of metrics with a number of attributes tied to them, humans can layer all kinds of different interpretations on top of that data set without changing any of the numbers themselves. You often have to use data to interpret motivations as well, which is an incredibly delicate science.
I would prefer to discuss things using data as well, but it’ll be subjective interpretations of that data. We really need to lose the idea of objectivity here, because it imparts this feeling of righteousness on those who think they are being objective.
Sounds like we just literally can’t look at data then. Let’s get back to mudflinging and then talking about how we can’t actually analyze data because we can’t analyze it.
How is it possible to tune anything when you literally can’t have data or any analysis of any kind whatsoever. Might as well just throw stuff at the wall at that point from a tuning standpoint.
That’s about all I see. Any time anyone throws out a data set, someone has to come in and tell us how that data set doesn’t actually mean anything whatsoever and that’s somehow the end point in that conversation. You can’t actually think about that data or think about it with any granularity, you just have to stop because maybe the data has some flaws maybe, so it literally somehow means nothing all of a sudden.
Might as well throw out random buffs and nerfs. Who knows. It’s a complete crapshoot and there is no reality.
Blizzard should just get RNG tuning numbers and an intern with a dartboard.
