Not saying I disagree that there should be more demon options, but Warlocks also get things hunters do not. Also, saying “ It’s not freaking fair” makes your post come across as petty and childish.
I dunno, I find hunters are the ones still losing out.
Yes warlocks get limited pet options, but warlocks have the best spell effects in the entire game, whereas hunters get the worst in my opinion.
Nothing feels impactful at all on the hunter. Its one of the main reasons why I don’t play one.
I would rather have limited pet options and amazing spells versus unlimited pet options and wet noodle animations.
Yeah and blizz has us digging thru crap every expansion so the idea of maturity is pointless
Well… hunters and shamans need cooler animations, remember that warlocks were the last casters to get new ones.
*Multi-shot and Lightning Bolt animation really piss me off
And locks and DKs need more pets diversity :3
As a former lock main, I approve the OP’s message.
This one is extra dumb because the animation is finished. BFA NPCs have a great one that puts the Legion one we never got to shame.

who cares about roleplaying pets when you can deeps harder.
It’s beta, Lock demon was S tier in BFA beta and was the worst dps in BFA launch…
By the way, many players don’t care about the top dps and play for fun. Tuning started 2 weeks ago, patience little DH :3

I agree awhile back I mentioned that they should give warlock’s new demon’s via earning them through trial’s. Just like hunter’s having to kite and tame new pets for example the spider’s in fire lands. Locks deserve a more variety also.

I mean… The questline was pretty cool but if it was just “Put your healthstone to this book and bam green fire” then that would have been acceptable as well for me.
I say that because, in a way hunters do have access to tools that let them tame untameable things. As well as mini-game tames (see purple fire spider).
And what about all the lives you’ve siphoned into soul stones? Don’t they matter?
Disembodied lives matter.

And I want to be able to SUMMON more demons than currently. I want a wider variety. I also want my Enslave demon spell to be useful.
Being a MASTER Summoner I should be able to summon MORE and BIGGER AND BETTER things than a regular summoner. That is currently not really fulfilled.

man, I’m just glad i’ll be able to actually enjoy playing my warlock again in shadowlands. Aff looks so fun. I can live with not getting any demon updates.

This thread is so funny, you’re getting ripped off compared to hunters? Because you can’t role play with new pets?
I’m sure hunters would love to be in your situation of having slightly less pet slots if they could at least get enjoyable class design. I mean… have y’all seen the mess that is surv and mm right now? And you’re saying you’re getting screwed compared to them…

I am not gonna lie, felhunter I’d probably keep, the rest would be handily switched for something else given the option. I didn’t play this class for years because I’m not a huge fan of 3 of 4 core demons. It’s just hella fun though and I got over it, but oh would I ever love the option to go all cosmic horror and not so much sad genie and bad tattoo art.
On the flip I like the warlock changes much better than the hunter changes, I play both but my hunters might sit SL out. I was perfectly happy without hunters mark, thanks.
