I agree DH do need a nerf, too much up time, too much damage, too much tankyness, too much mobility.

I sort of like this direction for most specs. I wish a lot of healers got this type of treatment as well, but in a way where there should be opportunities to recover but with different types of existing counterplays other than passive ones like dampening/MS. Maybe reverting a lot of the CC and kick duration nerfs could help with it. CDRs, rng procs on CDs, and silly mechanics have definitely been a huge culprit with majority of the issues particularly for arena as of late (imo).
i don’t dislike it overall i guess but it makes some specs that received bandaid after bandaid to combat breakneck pacing extremely forgiving defensively
in a scenario where sustained damage means the most a spec like affliction is going to do the most sustained damage 10/10 times while being nearly invulnerable to sustained damage pushes

Im pretty sure, with all nerfs that locks take across this xpac, this will be the first class in have a different talent tree for pvp.
Everytime i log to my lock i have to check patch notes to know what im actually playing this time lol. Time to reroll i guess to something more stable.
Um, when are you going to correct all your posts with the ACTUAL cooldown of the spell being 18 to 20 seconds, No where in the game is it 12 second port actually happening. That would require “exactly” 100% uptime on the lock for the ENTIRE match. I mean that they have to be sitting on that lock never once leave that lock.
Chances are the lock will get away realistically for more than 5 to 10 sec with proper healers and team mates. And even in top end scenarios, there will still not be enough uptime to trigger the up to 18 sec reduction in CD. It just doesn’t realistically happen.
I’m fine with a high sustained dmg profile for DoT casters like aff/sp/boom, but
this definitely shouldn’t be the case. They’ve liked putting lipstick on a pig by hitting things with 5%-10% dmg buffs from various sources while dismissing core design flaws. Obviously it isn’t the healthy approach to take, unless the spec is in a dire and desperate need of those buffs. With that being said, I think every class should be susceptible to death against sustained damage pushes including healers. Makes the game feel more riveting, imo.

Yeah not too sure, but the weird lock hate propaganda is very weird. It’ll always be about 20 seconds, granted when you port they’ll miss a couple of seconds of melee uptime on you. 18 seconds was just 100% uptime and that was the lowest, 12 seconds is definitely not possible.
nah its better if casters sit like a target dummy all game so you can practice your M+ rotation, and denying every cast of everything with micro stuns, kicks, fears,incaps, knockbacks, whatever

Lock short port is broken, doesn’t matter if mages blink is also broken. Two things can be broken at the same time.
Lock short port == lock not gonna die, same issue with mage if you don’t have a reliable purge on your team
