Im personally a mugambala and blades edge hater. Nokhudon i dont mind as much. That map is actually so awkward for casters and melee if you abuse the LOS.

I know in my heart that when i get mad at blades edge the answer is to just play downstairs and treat it like a baby nagrand, but i do not care enough about any single arena game to deal with those awful camera angles to do so.

Too many freedoms it feels like now. This is actually toxic, especially when they get a speed boost for whatever reason.
And then i inevitably do it once, get the W, and forget that it all happened and repeat my mistakes 2-3 games later XD
Gut all melee mobility first

That EU rogue alt outlined it better in another thread with some examples, but melee absolutely should have more mobility than casters because they have to be in melee to do their damage.
There’s undeniably been a ton of mobility creep over the years but, in terms of overall game health, having more mobility on both sides is better because it allows more actionable and counter play.
I dunno if youve seen any classic arenas, but its a WHOLE lot of waddling and that just looks awful and miserable for everyone.
That all being said, warlock has an insane relative tankiness, damage, and mobility profile when played correctly.
No, you don’t get more damage, better survivability, better sustain AND then get 100% up time with multiple gap closers and mobility just because you are melee. the sheer amount of hand holding this game gives melee is staggering.

Too bad blizzard had to balance around 1800 casters or they would all quit unless they had overtuned mobility or defensives.

With the absolutely outrageous amount of mobility and utility in the game now for EVERY class. No warlocks need that port sorry to say.
