Warlock port

Agree to disagree. I’m not implying its good for the game. But when a warrior has 2 charges and a leap to close distance every time you port or gate. Or a DK having perma slows and 2 grips + grabby hands etc monks having 2-3 rolls + serpent kick. Dhs being a bird dashing and flying everywhere rogue having step, hook, sprint, cloak, Druids nuff said. I think quick ports are ok /shrug (not mentioning range because that’s not the issue for locks.

locks want to go back to oldschool style sl/sl where they don’t have to manage cooldowns to stay alive and can just win by attrition.
But hey, if we’re gonna go down that road, can warriors get 75% healing reduction back?

Remove warlock port

maybe make short port talent not interact with soulburn

so you have to choose between 12s port that can’t be soulburned, or 30 second port that has the insane freedom attached to it

I mean yeah, just tested in a duel, 100% uptime. Min was 18 seconds. Where on earth did you get 12 seconds from? Ontop of that, if i’ve ported you probably won’t get one of the ticks on it soo, let’s say around 20 seconds.

Imagine complaining about a single movement ability

instead of some donut blinking 5 times with a spell that will nulify all the damage you have caused in the last 10 seconds (alter time)

if you are annoyed by warlock porting then pre-static field him before the port and he will be dragged back in

donut complaints

static fields chain is like 12 yrds since they fixed it dragging people through pillars at the start of this season

unless the warlock is literally directly on his port it wont pull him

you can purge alter time

if you ever die in any scenario with 12s port 6s freedomsprint you played 15-25x worse than the other team global for global

Not like locks can just use: coil, spam fears, and charm to take you halfway across the map so you have to use all your mobility, on cd, to get back in range to do damage.

All for them to just gate/port away and start that cycle again on you as you eat all their damage trying to catch up.

Imagine playing a DH or War then complaining about other class mobility and CC.

the issue is that they keep pushing a ‘sustained damage’ profile for most specs this expansion which is fine but it’s created this scenario where most specs have very little actual burst

warlocks can die for about 12 seconds out of every minute and they have a TON of tools to make sure that in those 12 seconds that they can’t

add the fact that paladin is the best healer in the game by a mile so you have 60s sac and 60s saved by the light means that 12 second window is basically non existent anyways

then add the fact that warlocks damage basically never stops it just creates this scenario where you literally cant die and you literally out pve everyone else

???

there’s been bandaids added to warlocks for a long time to supplement bad players
we’re at the point now where warlock is tuned highly enough that some of those bandaids could probably come off now

Imagine a warlock complaining about melee mobility and cc… while being tanky enough to literally stand toe to toe with melee in melee range.

This game is so biased towards casters atm it’s not even funny.
