Warcraft: Sylvanas spoilers

Calia should just die and never be heard from again. Her, Derek, Delaryn and those with her. They’re all very bad for the lore and their unliving existence is a detriment to the franchise.

I suppose they’ll be gone when Blizzard decides to Retcon the last 4 years

(So never)

God this sucks

I kinda wanna buy this because it sounds unintentionally funny.

Honestly though my only reaction is,

Yeah sounds about right

The dumb story continued to be dumb. You can’t fault it for tonal inconsistency at least. So its achieved that much.

I wonder what fresh Hell awaits us in the xpac reveal the way things are going

I’m sure if Golden had any heavy say, Wrathion is getting a villain bat

Arthas is portrayed as a major creep.

He says to her “you were beautiful once” then he asks her if she misses be able to touch.

Then he threatens to make her corpse dance for her.

This is sooooo bad.

Did we not have enough of Arthas in his own novel?!

This Nathanos reveal has broken my brain. I hope it recovers before the book officially releases so I can properly make my Goldenisms thread.

In Silverpine I think Sylvanas made the exact same threat to Crowley as to what she would do to Lorna if he didn’t surrender

Aight nah get her out of the IP fr fr out swiftly

It’s kind of weird to have been expecting a Sylvanas novel without Arthas in it

It gets worse…

He locks her body in a tower like a princess in his own cringe fairytale.

His own Sleeping Beauty.

“When the arrow finds its mark, the last fetter will fall away.”

N’Zoth utterly failed in his goal for Alleria in that case.

He just gave her the freedom to claim the Void’s power with the side effect only being Whispers that she was able to resist while we went in and killed N’Zoth.

I’m confused, I thought you guys liked it when Sylvanas/Forsaken victimhood is cranked up to maximum

Surely it can’t get worse

Other than the lava eels

It’s gratuitous and unnecessary, Golden already made a book all about Arthas and his misdeeds. This book didn’t need to have much more information about him when there’s already so much that exists.

She’s destined to become N’Zoth’s greatest servant. This is canonical fact, it’s why Locus Walker hopes she clings to the Light as long as possible.

N’Zoth is not dead. Alleria has not dodged her destiny. N’Zoth foretold Sylvanas breaking the Helm.

Isn’t Arthas pretty clearly the reason why she ended up the way she did though

N’zoth is dead. But “Dead” for an Old God is more like forcefully telling them to go home for awhile. I am sure he will probably manifest again in a new form eventually.

Yes, and all the reasons for why already existed.

Yeah no, that’s what Cdev said after C’thun died but so much has changed since then.

N’Zoth was killed in one of his visions. Not irl.

If anything this actually sounds like it damages Arthas more than Sylvanas which is pretty amazing given that Arthas was already an extremely bad guy

I don’t know how to describe it but it’s kind of like if Darth Vader in the original trilogy was also written to be a sex pervert in a book or something. I mean yeah, Vader is evil and does evil things but that’s not really the kind of evil he is?
