So who are you to tell them that isnā€™t fun? Also the sense of discovery lasted about 8 hours.

Is it cope if I parse purple and still think people who come on here to crusade to itā€™s defense are a bunch of ****ing losers lmao

Heā€™s lying, two of his parses are blue.

No, parsing purple is quite easy and why people check parses. To parse purple you need to play with other players who get boofs and are speced/geared properly. Thatā€™s it. Look at mine, I go as the wrong spec half the time, donā€™t have hammer and actually afk to the detrimental health of my raiders. Still purples.

All people need is to just find a guild. I mean, my guild puts up with undergeared alts all the time. Heck most the time itā€™s half alts all doing way under 100 dps. So yeah, weā€™ll wipe on Kelris a couple times. But itā€™s a guild so itā€™s ok. I mean, hell, i donā€™t think my guild would have cared if i told them i wanted to continue raiding as a frost mage. lol.

But if a pug wants to check your logs thatā€™s their business. Itā€™s pug. Get in there, get the job done, and get out. Not sit around and chit chat.

Edit: But the sad thing about parses is that I cared about them to a point not because i wanted to parse, because I knew that other people were going to look at them if i wanted to PuG at any point in time.

Im not sure how athletic you need to be to do the mental gymnastics to think being able to see how people perform is bad but it must be crazzzzzyyy athletic

well I did just do a BFD run with a priest that had 0 runes. the other 9 of us felt pretty virtuous

So what youā€™re saying is Parsing is easy and not challenging.

Yes, unless youā€™re pink parsing or 100 parsing you donā€™t even need to do tricks. If you canā€™t parse at least blue youā€™re just not pressing buttons on gcd. Which is why parses are helpful to vet a pug player. Players that hate parsing, on average, tend to be those players who donā€™t try. At all.

But I try and still hate parsing.

No you donā€™t. You at most hate the brain dead link parses people who just look at the number without any understanding. Maybe you dislike the cheese that goes into 100ā€™s. I do too, but it dosenā€™t effect 99% of the playerbase. Those players would latch on to something else if they didnā€™t have parses. Some people are just like that.

Parses are a very helpful tool and it makes your players feel good to hit 99ā€™s on dmf weeks, especially with a grip of other 99ā€™s.

I know team sports isnā€™t a thing most wow players did but it turns out groups of people like trying hard to do their best together. Shocking, I know.

Same here. I sundered for my group that had a priest with literally 0 runes and taunted when the meta tank died and I green parsed

I must be bad according to this terrible source of information

I genuinely think parsing was a mistake. I will continue to have this opinion if I one day hit orange. Or pink, whatever.

But you have like 3 months to parseā€¦something doesnt go wrong every raid.
