1 out of every 4 raiders will parse gray, no matter how bad or good the player base is.
1 our of every 4 raiders will parse purple or orange.
The remaining half of all raiders will parse green or blue.

Invite nothing but gray parsers into a BFD pug and you won’t be able to kill Gelihast, Kelris, or AKu’mai, likely more you would not be able to down.
That’s why some folks don’t pick gray parsers to fill out their pug when they have the option not to.
And to repeat what’s been said 1000 times before. Nothing is stopping anyone from starting their own pug. People won’t invite you because you parse gray? No problem. Start your own pug and announce you are inviting gray parsers. My bet is you won’t have many applicants. Even though they complain no one invites them, they won’t accept your invitation because gray parsers know they won’t kill bosses unless they get carried by blue and purple parsers.

no you goober cause they have no clue if they’re grey parsing but I cleared yesterday at 143k damage with only backstab but on the logs site it only shows the failed run I had last week cause someone DC’d and never came back and that was the 2nd highest DPS besides myself

Parsing hardly measures individual performance. You can get straight up carried into 95+ if the raid has strong enough dps and healers to ignore mechanics with.
Parsing performance is subjective and high parsing raids pad the numbers because neckbeards dig through warcraftlogs’ measurment criteria and find out what is exclusively counted towards a parse, then only do that one thing while neglecting everything else. It’s not accurate to ability and rewards selfish play, plus it encourages RMT.
