Warband Warbanks are Temporarily Disabled

If you spend enough time here, you’ll figure out the shortlist of people who are ardent defenders.

Those are all salient points and thank you for bringing all of them up.

Here’s hoping their solution for this new feature isn’t the same as the guild bank. The enormous delay on deposit/withdraw made guild banks a massive pain.

But but someone in my warband is actually using it

Entire chain took me about 10 minutes as a solo feral Druid. Hardest part was weaving the mouse around heads to click on the neon pink quest indicator to accept and turn in quests.

At least the quest giver is inside so there are no mounts on top of them.

I for one, am very happy you are FIND with that

That’s good but I couldn’t fit through the door without shrinking myself first

I get this a problem a lot

Yeah, long downtimes, but fewer annoying bugs that go unresolved overall. That game is masterfully programmed compared to WoW.

Hmm, maybe, just maybe, you should do what other companies do and take the game offline for a whole 24 or 48 hours before a patch. Announce the service will be offline in advance, and work on your issues.

Maybe also hire more QA

How much of TWW was coded by chatgpt?

You have to display a better message than “The bank is being used by another member of your warband” This made me think my account was compromised and someone was cleaning me out.

Almost lost my mind trying to figure out what’s wrong. Looking forward to the feature being accessible.

Very true. I never said otherwise

Just because people are Karens, doesn’t mean I should stoop to their level.

I cannot think of a time where speaking to the manager got me anything, though I can recall all the times where managers have told me to do things they cannot and will not do, like doing what a Karen wants.

Ah the good old days of the surprisingly expensive second spec.

Please tell me this is being fixed with the reset today

The Blizzard Methodology.

Will it one day overtake Agile? :eyes:

Take your time, and do what needs doing.

There is a reason I keep maintaining Blizzard’s code is brittle. Not from bad development, but because from the start WoW was a mad scramble to get live, and corporate decisions towards “JIT” development, and breakneck pacing gives no time for developers to take the necessary time to ensure everything is working as intended (I won’t go into the absolute lack of respect most companies have towards QA, which I find abominable).

I want to be clear. For me, I would rather it be LATE AND GREAT rather than on time and mediocre (because we know neither Blizzard nor Microsoft will invest more $$$ to make the deadline and have the product be pristine). But I am not a decision maker.

So since we have what we have - I’m ok waiting. The most important thing for me is communication. I run a guild, and yes we are still raiding, and will do so until TWW officially launches. So for me it is crucial to know if there will be down time on my raid nights, and for how long, so I can set expectations with my team. As long as Blizzard keeps me informed in a timely manner, the rest is of no issue.
