Just happened as well missing alot of items, had a bunch of stuff on the 2nd bank tab now i dont even have one full page. wtf

all those hours of farming to have them mess it up with some code glitch. if they can figure out what everyone had then fix the issue. if they can’t my thoughts are just give every character that is already made a full set of gear. not that they would be so kind.

I just logged in to check my warbank, and all my remaining defender gear is still visible, and still says warbound until equipped.
I logged in a second character and everything was still there, no changes.
Either I’m just lucky or maybe this is fixed?

Its seems the bug was fixed (they got set to soulbound & BoP)
But anyone who logged in while it was broken lost all of the warbank items, and everything in character bags is now soulbound

The bug causing the issue for first time logins IS fixed, but us who logged in pre fix get screwed.

Currently, we do not have a workaround or resolution that can be provided.
They could very well just not fix it and mess us over. so who knows with Blizz.

These aren’t quite CrowdStrike-level events (though it’s getting there) but when your game revolves around collecting and database storage and retrieval is one of your biggest demands you have to question how this keeps happening at this rate and with this severity. The source files compile! Push it to live!

Just wanted to add to this thread that I had the same thing happen. A bunch of 480 gear in my Warband Bank waiting for alts is now gone.

Wow… they at least fixed the items on the vendor now but they didn’t fix them on the other characters. What is going on…? Are they planning to fix the items that were marked soulbound or no?

I would hope they have a logging system for their databases. Most large scale DBs do.

I have the same problem. All of the gear I got from the Radiant Echoes event has disappeared from my warbank and the Dalaran Defender gear I had in one of my character’s bags is Soulbound and not Warbound anymore. Hours spent running this event for nothing. I am so pissed.

Same – all the gear I had in the Warbank was gone. I figured I would just sell it anyway – that was a bit of gold in there! It’s just gone. : / My toon that I used to buy up gear with my remaining residual memories? The rings and cloaks still say warbound until equipped for him. Figured rings would be a good things for alts. Guess we’ll see what happens – if it goes soul bound or disappears.
DEFINITELY should’ve been upfront about it! – I would’ve sold off the extra at least.

I’ve been following this but haven’t logged in since launch 'till just now…
and in my warband bank is all my bits and all still marked as “WuE” and intact, so seems they stopped them vanishing, and fingers crossed will be finding a way to check the losses.

Made the unfortunate choice to be online as the xpac went live. Lost a nearly full warbank page (full cloth/leather/mail/plate sets, all weapons, enough necks/cloaks/rings/trinkets for each set) of Radiant Echo / Dalaran Defender gear. Not really feeling a lot of trust in the warbank/guildbank system these days.
