Honestly though frost dk did need a nerf, and BM hunter needed that buff.
It’s due to it giving primary stat, and the proc rate of it as well. Any trinket that gives a ton of primary stat with a decent proc rate is going to be OP.
Why the 6% Ele nerf??? That’s so unfair
as an arcane mage main, these are some great changes and think they are definitely for the better for our class. the gameplay will be much better with these changes. keep up the great work and dont listen to the haters!
Please revert the mage change to burden of power double dipping, it’s a fun mechanic. tune the numbers as you see fit but don’t nerf the fun
As heroic raider that main arcane. I heard rumbling in mage discord and mage forums of this change, and I disagree with them. They are claim this lower the skill celling, however, if we don’t lower the skill celling this could lead to nerf over damage which again harm players that are not the best at arcane. I still believe spell que with NP is bad change because there is nothing in game to inform that player of this trick, and can be diffcult to pull of. Porom claim there is about 7% delta between doing AB AB ABarr vs AB AB during the beta. If the delta was smaller, I wouldn’t think it would cause an issue. However, since the delta is large every arcane mage must master this skill.
Yup, people had “mandatory to play” and “mandatory to avoid” lists. These balance patches are rectifying it somewhat.

This is what I Was wondering. I’m already struggling to keep up in damage with other classes, even on huge AoE pulls. So why are we nerfing their dmg even further lol

Whichever dev thought it was a good idea to change the burden of power double dipping AGAIN, needs to be fired.
Nerf the damage not the core rotation, the incompetency in these devs is literally disgusting

And this patch won’t change any of that for mages. Sunfury Arcane will still be above the others, just with worse gameplay. This is what we are complaining about.
I’m still waiting for when they partially roll back tank nerfs. Or figure out they need to give healers another swiftcast that only works on tanks, to make up for what they took away.
