Arcane Sunfury changes make everybody unhappy. The build needs adjustments but messing with the rotation after release feels really disruptive. It would be better to tune Sunfury’s numbers while still keeping the fun gameplay intact.
Arcane Spellslinger also needs a buff, because with current tuning Arcane players don’t really have a choice between Hero Talents. Nobody at any level of play is going to choose to be 30% less effective, which is a shame because the visuals are great even if the build is a noob trap. This is very reminiscent of Shadowlands where we had four covenants to pick from and but were forced to play Kyrian for two years because it did by far the most damage. Meaningful choice can’t exist unless both options are equally valuable.
Arcane Sunfury also needs to be more purple and less fiery.

Hello! Another fellow mage here.
I thouhgt we all learnead something from the big Nether Precision fiasco tree weaks ago.
First of all Arcane SF is clearly overtuned, no one is saying that’s false.
The issue with this change is that is affecting the gameplay a lot (being One week away from raid starting) and also creating new inconsistencies with the rotation overall.
Another problem is that this affects AGAIN the skill expresion and the FUN of the class.
ARCANE SF’s rotation was Super fun and engagin to play, plz don’t take away the fun from us ![:frowning: :frowning:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/frowning.png?v=12)
U can nerf the numbers in other ways like Nerfing Spellfires Spheres, Mana Cascade, The Burden Empowers Buff or an aura nerf but again want to emphasize this DON’T CHANGE THE ROTATION.
Also Arcane Soul change is super awkward. It needs to be longer, no shorter. With this change U’ll have probably only 1 GCD, thats all. Super weird thing.

Thanks, I guess for a 20% buff to void blast after nerfing it overtime by 45% this change doesn’t do anything, every shadow priest is still going to play Archon and still not be viable for raid. So uh nice try we’ll try again for heroic week tuning.

SF Arcane needs to be equalized and balanced, there is no argument there. Potentially changing the arcane rotation, which has arguably been the most fun it has EVER been, is not the way to do it. Revert the change for Burden of Power to not double dip and reduce its damage. Potentially changing how the class plays less than 2 weeks before raid releases and after the backlash from the previous attempt at changing spell queuing is a bad idea. Kill the damage from it sure that’s fine. Just don’t kill the fun.

What a dumb way too look at the game lol. Its why shamans are in the state we are in most of the time.

Blizzard… please understand, we want to have FUN. If we’re in the middle of the pack, right there with the others, it’s OK. There’s no problem with that, but the spec is FUN, the rotation is smooth… As someone who has played Mage (and abandoned it after Pandaria), having a complicated or unfun rotation that depends on a “build-up” is not a viable option when it comes to nerfs. Learn to nerf DAMAGE, not PLAYABILITY!
We are about two weeks away from Mythic, and nerfing the way the class/spec plays is not viable; it’s not good for the health of the game (which makes me question if you REALLY care about the health of the game). You are literally throwing all the hard work of people who invest time and effort to provide the best possible gameplay for everyone into a black hole (to put it mildly).
You guys have said in interviews that you wouldn’t do this, and now doing it makes NO SENSE AT ALL.
Nerf Burden of Power by 5-7%, Arcane Soul is FINE IN TERMS OF TIME, NERF THE DAMAGE FOR GOD’S SAKE!
THESE NERFS DON’T MAKE SENSE, UNDERSTAND THAT, DEVS!
We don’t want damage; we want FUN! Please understand this once and for all.

Please nerf our damage and not change our rotation a week out from raid ![:disappointed_relieved: :disappointed_relieved:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/disappointed_relieved.png?v=12)

As somewhat of a New Arcane mage, i will have to agree with my fellow mages. We get it Arcane was to strong! However i will reiterate NERF the damage not the FUN. Double dipping Burden is not hard to learn(ive only been playing arcane about a month) and it makes the class feel really fun! I really thought you learned with the Nether precision double dip take back just a short while ago. Please revert this and do some real work to nerf the damage and NOT the fun. Please and Thank you Blizz.

We havent even gotten into raid. Better yet, havent gotten into Mythic 0. These changes are all dogsh*t
How you gonna nerf and buff based on nothing. Play the ball as it lies Blizzard.

While the hunter buffs are appreciated, they’re just going to make the pet aggro issue worse. Can you please address this? Right now BM pets can’t hold aggro at all in multitarget situations, and it seems BM is the only spec having this issue, which makes no sense given that pets are most of our damage.

It’s adjustments door knob. Gosh dks are above and beyond right now. Chill
I thought we established that we enjoy spell queuing with the nether precision change last month. Why did they feel it was necessary to continue trying to remove it? Please revert this change and nerf something that doesn’t impact how fun arcane is to play.

You have to stop doing this, revert the Burden of Power change. Leave our gameplay alone.

Oh yeah its because mages get a bit of a nerf batting thats why Shaman has been the forgotten class for 20 years

No, its because blizzard does things that dont make sense. To cheer on mindless nerfs that make classes feel worse is stupid. But “mage man bad” is about as far as some ya’ll get

Why would you change the gameplay of Arcane Mage??? Just nerf the tuning. I thought i had found my spec for the expansion but now…

I was one of the mages that advocated for keeping the NP change, i thought it would bring too much complexity, but when i got to play and learn the rotation, i saw that it wasnt even that hard to execute. I had a change of heart and I’d like you to revert the Burden of Power change.
