I have never advocated for transferring. Transfers aren’t an answer. Well, let me amend that. Transfers are an answer when that is an option given. I would suggest leveling on a different server, as my stance is you should have to level on the server you wish to play on. Also, nothing is stopping you from ceasing to play on a low pop server. You have options and solutions available to you. It is up to nobody else to fix this for you. If you can’t find a group you can: make friends, change servers, join a guild, forgo that content until a better time. RDF isn’t a good solution, and it may not even fix your issue as if implemented it may not be cross realm, and if it ever is, hopefully won’t be.
You are asking for it to be an instant gratification lobby. That isn’t this game. That isn’t what an MMO is. You have some responsibility to yourself, your potential parties, your guild, and your server. If you can’t fill the roles needed by all involved, it’s only your problem. One of your own making.
That is literally the job description of the developers.
It is.

That absolutely isn’t the job description of developers. Their job is to present options. They have. You have options, you’re just unwilling to take them.
Another level 80 doing content clocking in to say: HELLO! I want RDF! Thank you.
If only there was a thing, that could help us folks who only have a few fleeting moments to play on weeknights, be able to queue up for a dungeon run.
Literally is this game bro. That’s WHY mega servers exist and WHY people would rather login 12 hours ahead of time from their phones than transfer somewhere where it takes 10x as long to get done what you need to get done. Or never get anything done because the server is dead
If
Was the case, blizzard wouldn’t need to lock realms. People WANT it, and obviously it’s the majority that does because the majority of players play on mega servers, and those who left, regret it. Pound sand
Also enough with the bullsh because blizzard did not cap the servers to begin with, yet they originally had caps. Now they are grasping at straws placing the blame on the players for wanting to play the game on servers blizzard themselves nurtured.
Tell me why any competent game Dev would allow their pvp servers to end up 100% in one faction with an omega population and not put the breaks on it before it went below 60/40?
If blizzard truly wanted lower population servers they would simply split the 100% alliance and horde servers into 3 or 4 pieces each and merge them at 50/50 faction ratios.
What they want is for idiots to transfer off the mega servers to dead servers (free now) and transfer back once the dead servers are ghost towns ($25 then).
The wolf cries of "oh these servers are 4x bigger than high pop servers in 2008!!!“. In 2008 my ‘high pop’ server had 4 raiding guilds, don’t feed me bs
That makes zero sense, bud. People aren’t saying they want something else if the data is saying they’re logging in and playing anyways.
That’s like saying I go to McDonald’s every day because I really want spaghetti.
How do you not understand? Sit at computer - find group - play.
Vs
Sit at computer
Spam for 3 hours for raid
Raid may or may not happen at all
Entirety of playtime looking for dps/tank/heals
Good tradeoff compared to tapping a button a few hours in advance. XD
This is the current situation.
Did you read what you quoted and what I responded with? You quoted me saying the game isn’t an instant gratification lobby, and suggested that long queues confirm that. What you said makes literally no sense.
Not everywhere bro. You’re on a mega server so it applies to you. On grobbulus I can find a raid at midnight, 4am, 8am, 12 pm, 5pm, etc.
On maladath I’ve NEVER SEEN ONE FORM since I play after midnight into the morning. Today was different I logged in at 4pm and there was one singular heroic group looking for a healer for 40 minutes and a naxx (10) being advertised for tomorrow (hosted by a guild) because there are so few players on the server that a guild 10 man requires 5 pugs.
Mega servers turner it into one, which is what I wrote if you could comprehend
You made a conscious decision to play on that server, to play a role not as desired, and without a group available to help you. This is natural to how this genre of game works when one makes those decisions. Nobody is forcing any of this upon you.
You think people went to certain servers because the lack of RDF? Which wouldn’t have existed when people did that regardless? You uh, sure about that?
A conscious decision to play on a server that’s dead? Yeah bro that’s what I was expecting.
Not desired role? Why are you just making sht up? I never said it was only a challenge FOR ME to find people to raid, it’s a SERVER PROBLEM can you not comprehend English? I play all 3 roles, none are in demand, because there IS no demand because there are no players online. /Who 80 yields 20-40 players at 11pm on a Saturday.
Tell me again how it’s my fault that blizzard won’t allow me to transfer to EU, a more fitting time zone for my schedule. Or another server where shiit actually goes on and has players. Ligma balls bro
Start over. What’s stopping you?
Edit - By the way, you’re either 14, or mentally a child. Rad.
Ive been on Grobb since day 1, back when it was 6k players total, and it’s been the same situation the whole time. Even when raids were 40 players you could find pugs at all times of day.
Nope quit now and give me your gold because this is the wrong phase for rdf
