Anti RDFers come up with the stupidest things. One is trying to pretend that RDF isn’t a Wrath feature.
How many times do we have to go round-and-round about this. RDF very specifically didn’t exist with the available content at this time. Regardless of what one of the designers wanted, many others didn’t. Some didn’t want it ever. For good reason.
You don’t know anything about me or the server I play on because I am a reroll from a dead server and the one I play on now is near 50/50. Still not a soul around.

Also RDF only affects dungeons. You still need your beloved community to do anything else outside of that.
Players who weren’t going to to go dallies or whatever while sitting in trade spamming LFM before are still not going to go do dailies or whatever while sitting in queue.
Cool, no one is advocating for that to go away. RDF doesn’t affect your ability to play with your friends or make new ones.

Except they didn’t. The put LFG in, which is worse to both RDF and the retail version of LFG. We’re stuck with the worst of both worlds.

LFG tool works really well, actually. I’d still prefer no tool at all, and this tool was the compromise with people who need assistance in forming groups. It’s more than enough to accomplish what you seek.
Unless you’re playing during off hours or leveling content, or irrelevant content, or are playing a bad spec, or any other myriad of examples that you’re going to blow off anyways.

They could add RDF for all vanilla, TBC. it would help the leveling process. There is no real valid argument against this.
Just keep it off for WoTLK dungeons.
They’re gonna say that you can level without dungeons, or that the earlier expansions have hundreds of players running around, or something along those lines.

I also logged on at a time that wasn’t peak hours, decided to only press one key, and then complain on the forums that players are unaccepting of my type of gameplay. Blizzard please force people to accept my lazy gameplay. I don’t want to put too much effort as I have phone games to manage and WoW is barely keeping my dopamine up to sustain any sort of feeling.

All of which are your choices. Those choices have consequences both positive and negative. Those choices are necessary for this game to exist in the way it does. MMOs aren’t single player experiences on the whole. You can have a single player experience in them, but you don’t get to hire mercenaries in town to help you do your tasks on solely your terms. If you don’t want to play something desired by others, you don’t get to receive a service from those others. This is core to the game. It works precisely how it’s supposed to.
If you want to get groups as an undesired spec, role, or on off hours, try offering gold to people you’d like for your party. Try offering them later help with something they need. Try offering literally anything to them for their assistance. They owe you nothing. People don’t need to play at the same time as you. If you want better populations at the hours you wish to play, find a group that plays then or find a server that suits your hours.
These options exist. You just refuse to take them. Instead you want to change the dynamic of the game. The dynamic you wish for they rereleased the game specifically to avoid.

To a degree. It’s your choice not to use it, nobody is denying that. What we’re saying is that it changes a core dynamic of the game. If you want that core dynamic a game exists for you to have it. This game doesn’t. This game is predicated on your ability to form a group yourself.

join a guild and run with them. make friends and level together. I dont see how people lived without it from launch in 04 to the ICC patch in wrath. maybe the game wasnt actually around and we just made it up that the game was out in 04?
