Well i get that money for some of us isn’t a thing, but what are you paying $25,extra dollars on?
This kind of response shows your intelligence and maturity. Granted at times I feel izzard doesn’t always see things through, remember Garrisons? Yeah, i do. But classic wotlk was designed and implemented for the older players that enjoyed the server community that we had back in the early days. To you the game is dungeon crawling and blowing things up, to us older folks the game as a whole was the game. An open world with quest to do, dungeons to run, gear to gain, and people to meet. I meet people on my server. That’s why i picked my server and why i don’t want to share anything with your server. If your server is dying or dead, you can sit there and rot. Its your time and you pitching a fit as the days melt away with no idea what Blizzard is going to do and even if they’re interested in doing what you want. Yeah they’re the morons, you may want to rethink that. You’re being childish. Nevermind, you can’t see past your own hubris to see what an great opportunity you have. You just need time to grow up and stop having people solve your problems. I feel you need to feel abandoned and let down. It’ll do you some good. Spare the rod, spoil the child. That’s what RDF did to you.
Transfering servers. Unless you’re suggesting people just abandon your character that you’ve been playing for the last few years.
Except not really. I played in wrath. This feature was in wrath. It deserve to be added back to wrath.
RDF doesn’t affect server communities.
RDF doesn’t change what people do in the overworld.
You still can do all of these things with RDF. In fact RDF opens the pool for people to meet substantially.
Calling people immature and throwing a tantrum over not wanting to share (whatever that even means in the context of RDF) is a pretty bad look.
Or Blizzard can do the right thing, and put in the features that the playerbase actually wants in the game.
Love the nasty snarky little digs you and the rest of the dinosaurs throw in. Anyone who wants to interact with you on a regular basis has to have brain damage, because all of you are just nasty people waiting to die. Every single one of you is the most unpleasant and undeniably rigid person I have ever met, and whenever I think it cannot be outdone, I am continuously surprised.
This community is garbage today because of people like you.
The retail community is literally the same as this community.
The vast majority of people don’t talk to each other except for general niceties.
You have no proof that RDF negatively affected the community.
Turns out, populations of people and the habits of those populations of people change over 15 years. Not everyone wants to be best pals with every single rando they encounter and that’s fine. There are ways to continue to make tight knit groups of people for people who want them.
Yeah, can be any class really. I see a crap load of bad mages, blizzarding 1 mob and what not.
The biggest one for me are the people who don’t use their kit, like shamans not interrupting, or dropping tremor etc. You can tell when its new or returning players, and you can tell when people bought all their gear lolol.
Considering you don’t know what hyperbole is as evidenced from other threads, and you clearly don’t know what proof is, as there has been evidence of this phenomenon demonstrated to you countless times… maybe you should like, stop? You only are posting wishing others will be on the same side as you. It’s also incredibly clear you have no experience with this game before these changes were made to have any position on the retail game without the RDF system. You continually argue in bad faith, and refuse to read the entirety of posts that meet you with such evidence as stated before. Just like, stop acting like a 10 year old.
Really? Have you logged into retail? It’s dead… why? Because all the same GD people are playing on Wrath! Jesus Christ, Gosakii. You’d argue with a wall now, wouldn’t you?
Now, let’s take my retail guild. We have roughly 130 or so regular players. Only about 20-30 of them raid or BG. The rest are casual. We formed the same guild on WoTLK and 97 out of 130 have created characters and leveled. Only about 40 of them are 80 by now, and that’s ok.
You see, that’s called substantiated proof of what we’re saying. 80% of the SAME PEOPLE are playing Wrath that plays retail.
Yep, I’m saving gold to trade to retail before DF drops. Wrath is inevitably going to die even without DF as they can’t keep up with the unemployed sweats. As it is right now even the semi hardcore players are already raid logging 2 weeks in.
Even if DF flops I ain’t paying Blizzard another $ for anything.
You just marginalized someone based upon their experience and view of the game. That’s wrong. You just told someone their opinion doesn’t matter because your experience is different.
Abaolutely i am. I abandoned a 70 human paladin that i just couldn’t get back into enjoying but absolutely loving my rogue! As a matter of fact, I’ve ran into many low levels on my server that are rerolls from dead servers like yours. You’re only 64 guy and a dk at that. You can breeze back up to that and on top of that do what Tony Stark. Tony learns from his mistakes. Be like Tony. Be an Avenger.
I’m not talking about true wotlk. I’m talking classic. Those that played back in the day that loved our servers and had server pride. Ya see, i had something. Something wonder. Something great. A real community. Not just friends on a friends list but people i saw around me every day and it was taken from me for cheap dungeon thrills. I have that back and yes your rdf would take that from me as we wouldn’t be teaming up anymore. People would naturally take the easy way out.
Absolutely it does and it did. I explained above. You don’t have a community and you’re to selfish to enjoy one if you had one. No one really wants to hang out with you or be a friend, that’s why you stay on a dead server.
People stayed in capitals after rdf was originally released and still do in retail. Ive been around the block several times kid.
And lfg helps me meet people on my server where i can raid and quest and level an alt with them.
I only use it because i know better. I hated seeing an empty barren wasteland because people never left capitals. Its also a natural barrier so late bloomers don’t rush through content.
They did, just not to your expectations but luckily there are others and we have are own expectations. They gave you a free 55 dk, server transfers, and a shiny new lfg tool. You got a lot but not exactly what you want so you’re pitching a fit and Blizzard hasn’t even committed on rdf since launch.
I don’t treat them as i treat you. I see value in people that show their worth. People that try to solve their own problems. I treat you like a child because you insist on acting like one.
half of every post i see is someone whining about RDF, get in a guild or make one, or use the group finder. blizz is pretty hard set on not putting it in the game.
Stop pretending you care what other people think. You want RDF you can play retail. Those of us who don’t want RDF are playing Classic and that’s the only way we can play the game like we want to, yet you come in here and demand RDF. Rude AF. I guess our experience and view of the game doesn’t matter, huh?
