When I use alt-tab, I also have to click which application/window I want to select. It doesn’t just cycle to the next one. So for me, it requires two actions, one of which requires moving my mouse to the selected window/app and then clicking. So technically, it’s three actions.
Also, and this is non-technical, but have you considered that Blizzard doesn’t want people multiboxing like this? That they’ve implemented these policy changes and are enforcing it very strictly precisely to stop the practice? For years, people have been railing against the “unfairness” of multiboxing and (relatively recently) Blizzard has changed their view and now agrees. If you want to run a main character through a dungeon or a quest chain and have another character on another account working the Auction House or doing some Crafting, that seems like the limit of what is within the spirit of fair play. Running multiple characters together in a party into combat does not seem within the spirit of fair play. And trying to get advice here on how to do what you want to do and not get flagged (again) isn’t going to be a guarantee. My advice, then, would be don’t engage in any sort of playstyle that seems to be against the spirit of fair play.
