Can not get that filter to show me any items, if anyone could help it’d be appreciated, I want to check out which possible items could be removed to go find. I know of a few that are for sure back, but I’d like to make a comprehensive list of confirmed items for folks.
Yeah, no, they expect me to pay for it, because I owe them for raising me. On the plus side, I got out of a lot of family meetings by pointing out, by that argument, the dog, my grandmother and the internet should be getting the money instead.

I feel it. World hard and cold. Why come home and find joy in a game only to be insulted or ridiculed? Adventure is for friends. Friends soft and warm. I like friends.

Be what you most needed in your darkest hour. Sometimes, that’s a warm hug and a lack of judgement, a sturdy shoulder to lean on when the pain gets too much, or a molotov cocktail pre-lit and ready to throw.
You never know what somebody else is going through at that moment in time. Be gentle and be understanding as much as you can manage, the world is a terrible place as things stand, don’t actively try to make it worse for others.

I’m enjoying discovering old rare NPCS again and have gotten a few long removed drops. It seems pretty consistent as to what they’ve put back in the game, so if you’re not finding that one NPC, keep an eye out. It could just be the spawn timer and everyone else looking for that NPC too.
There’s ways to filter items and NPC’s on wowhead so that you’re only looking at patches / content / prior to cata; same with wowpedia. I’ve used them as a sort-of hunting guide to go looking for what’s been removed and it seems to be working.
I’ve gotten a number of weapons and armor pieces that I missed out on, so pretty happy about this. Hope it continues.

The pvp thing I could get behind. Only for queued pvp though. Playing some Halo Infinite and I would’ve never stuck around if I was paired against better players also with an advantage.

Hello again friends. It’s time for another installment of, “Guess what’s back?”
The Scarlet Key drops from the Hallow’s End loot-filled pumpkin. I suspect they will add another way for you to get it, considering what it gives you access to.
Once you get it, head to Scarlet Monastery and you’ll find a quest attached to a keychain. Interact with the quest / keychain and you get a buff allowing you to unlock the two doors that were locked up.
Entering the other two dungeon portals that have been active this whole time, with the same buff, will allow you to enter the old version of the dungeon.
All 4 OG wings are now accessible again.

ETA: Still figuring it out. The key is not a 100% drop and there is now a SM Hallows Dungeon Hardmode. When you enter the dungeon, check the wicker folks on the left. They allow for increased difficulty. Running on HM increases the odds the key drops.
A few have said they had it drop after grabbing an inn pumpkin quest.
Scarlet Key now also showing up in the AH for about 800k. lol

I swear to god I better get that damn mount this time around. I’ve got ten 70s lined up for farming that jerk every day. I specifically came back to farm that jerk.
Make sure you run it on hardmode. They confirmed the chance % goes up if you run it on HM.

Same! I dont know this was put in this thread because again- I dont see it as breaking glass? This is something I have wanted back since Pandaria and I am so excited for it.
Be better if they just posted up a bronze dragon outside each revamped dungeon that allowed you to enter the old version like they do with the zones.
None of this raggle-fraggled farmin’ nonsense just so we can farm more.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again.
Dragonflight is the “Baby come back, I’ve changed!” Expansion. They’re gonna backflip on so many things to distance themselves from the bad PR they’re gonna throw a disc in the process.

Is the key an account-wide unlock or do we need it for each armor class?!
I want Chromie time upgraded so if you go to classic era through Wrath, the old stuff is just there – with new stuff like persistent scourge invasions for Wrath-era timewalking.
I’d even dig deeper and call it “eras”, with each having 1-3 “timeways” or something.
I’d blow timewalking out and have “time-locked” options for characters… just lean into it hard since it’s already there and the game is so old.
“This week’s quest is to go clear TEN MAN SCHOLOMANCE!” maybe even with some affixes via the infinite dragonflight.
TLDR: give us back the old stuff.

I just got the key to drop on HM on an alt and I’m running around SM now. Such memories.
It’s crazy what you remember. I remembered where a chest used to spawn in one of the wings and ran right there when I zoned in… lo’ and behold, the chest was there. It felt like traveling back in time.
