Oh my God. I got the key because they’re like 20k on the AH and dropping fast. Run two halls of the old scarlet monastery so far. Taking my time, taking it in.

(Blizz still needs to just put bronze dragon npcs outside revamped dungeons to change it to the old ones tho)

I sometimes think about coming back. Then I spend some time browsing the forums and it usually clears it up pretty quick.
I came back and I don’t know how long I’m going to last.
The systems aren’t bad at all. In fact, the gameplay of this expansion is probably the strongest it’s ever been–dragonriding is fun, the world quests are fine, the renown system is much better than reputation, the new talents are at least more engaging than the previous iterations, even if balance is always going to be an issue.
…but, and I’m not sure how to describe it, the game feels socially drained? It’s harder to find people to connect with and that’s my favorite thing to do while playing–these chores are made so much more fun by having someone to talk to. But that’s much rarer now, it feels, likely due to a massively diminished userbase.
I think I’ll hold out until the next patch, but I don’t know if I’m going to make it to the end.
You say I have luck and yet in fifteen years I have yet to get the Horseman’s mount. I would gladly trade the key for the mount so I can be FREEEEEEE
