Scholomance. OG Naxx items. Halloween Gask Mask. T3. All the Hats. Card Game items on the Trading Post. Looks like Scarlet Monastery might be returning somehow. So much more over the past year has been returned to us.
I keep posting updates on what is coming back in rando threads, and I can’t keep track anymore. So, at this point I feel like I just need to post A Thread…and moving forward I can funnel all my breaking glass posts into one post.

Coincidentally, I re-download the WIP Wildstar private server just to be able to build a house in a game that offers near unlimited creative freedom. The server itself is faaaaar from complete. Combat doesn’t work at all (or barely functions depending on specific servers) most zones are inaccessible, bugs and non implemented/broken systems everywhere… but housing… housing sweet glorious housing is (mostly) functional which is enough to keep me entertained for hours already.

Honestly? Ireally dislike the whole idea that blizz doing things that players can be excited for is breaking the glass. Unless you mean separating us from them.
But the whole emergency glass thing? How many emergency glasses do they need to break till it isnt even emergency glass anymore. Its just- them making good desicions.

That’s kind of the point. It’s breaking the emergency glass because giving players what they ask for is kind of not what Blizzard does.

This is a bit of a reach, and a bit of of slander, but consider who was leading these teams.
And more importantly, what they’ve been accused of, and in several cases, charged with.
There’s a big reason behind Blizzard’s ‘you think you want this, but you don’t’ and the ‘no negativity in the dojo’ mantra that speaks of the personalities and mentality of the leadership of Blizzard that goes well beyond not including, or reintroducing, gear, QoL changes and content.
Its not just breaking glass ceilings or ‘in case of emergency’ buttons, but people now either being forced to do it because there’s a big old spotlight on them, or new people rising up to those vacated positions and doing what is good for the company and the players, rather than a group of reprehensible troglodytes relying upon America’s second-rate worker protections to continue to be absolute scum.

It’s both. But the headstrong old guard was precisely why so much fell by the wayside, and why it’s pertinent to push against it remaining that way with complacency. Those higher ups heavily protected this IP from having helpful things like cross faction grouping sooner, and harmless fun such as the slow removal of previous tmog restrictions. It’s why the talk of old blizzard being “the glory days” is so lame now, because they were so restrictive to people that didn’t play the way they envisioned. Nevermind all the sharp words I have to say for some lore portrayals under the guidance of a certain thrall and vol’jin VA.
But more on topic, I’m glad this notion of “those appearances are a reward for playing OLD, BASIC QUESTING CONTENT AT THE TIME” is finally going away and being treated as stupid as it is.

Great news for all this stuff to be back. I made a fortune off Bluegill Breeches and still have a pair BoE but am pleased all this stuff will get back into the hands of those who did not collect them in the past.
I don’t know if it’s broken glass or what, the game – as a game – is just in a better state than recently, teams changed and grew and MS acquisition stuff will change things more, all that.
Dragon Flight has been great for me in terms of high keys and raiding and I hope it continues.

I have either mortally offended somebody or caused irreparable brain damage to a old man who owns several units on my street.
Kept on going on and on about peoples’ ‘immoral’ lifestyles and how people were practicing polygamy and he couldn’t kick them out because of the protections in place.
I pointed out polygamy is illegal in Australia, and what they have is a ‘polycule’, and they’ll stop when he stops driving his rent up as much as he legally can. And he kind of looked at me and his left eye started twitching rapidly as I explained what a Polycule was and why its so popular now, because it’s illegal to kick folks out based on relationship status and, thus, it makes it easier to have more people in a rental and thus a lower overall rent from each member of the polycule.
I haven’t seen Frank in about two weeks, but I see his wife much more regularly now as she goes down to collect her mail, and apparently she finds it hilarious because Frank’s been glued to the screen trying to research if a polycule is considered tax evasion or not and keeps yelling at their Alexa.
I’m trying to convince Sarah to let me reprogram their Alexa to talk back so I can generate more chaos in Frank’s life, but thus far she says no.

Genuinely what is going on with these people not from an rp server randomly finding this thread and replying to Enekie’s post specifically? If I had a nickel for every time this has happened I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t much but it’s weird that it happened twice.
