Hamming it up in dungeons… ( Shakespeare reference)
grabbing skulls and woo’ing gurls
talking to a friend in classic…
speaking olde commone?
also, i expected saturday evenings in DFW to be chill…ATC sequencing me close in between jetsssss…
was also endearing hearing an American jet calling out a coyote nearing runway 36R. sometimes humanity and everyday chatter pops up on the nomenclature-saturated radio
lol reminds me of one time, 15 years ago, when i put my ‘breakfast’ - a banana - on the top of my little trainer airplane, as my student was taxiing out. we get to the runup area, and a nearby trainer airplane’s instructor calls ground control.
“ground, i…don’t know how to say this other than to, well, say it, but there’s a banana on the top of november one two x-ray!”
before ground could jump in: “oh, thank you! that’s my breakfast, :D”
then I turn to my trainee - “so, make sure you’re more aware than I am, k?” takes a bite out the banana
I told you not to eat those funny mushrooms in that cave…
Watch out for roadrunners on the runway too.
@sasbetha feel the glare of my helga gif.
guys a uhm FRIEND might be dropping by eventually. a very special FRIEND. one we all miss VERY DEARLY.
also gus is sleeping on floor tonight. all my enticements to get him to sleep on bed have failed.
Make the Draenei sleep on the floor.

@dreadmoon
its now -30f here.
One of my favorites, partly for this bit, from about the middle of the book:
One of the questions an astronaut is most frequently asked is “How long does it take to train for a flight?” I hope you are sufficiently bewildered by the events described so far in this book that you don’t know the answer, because I don’t either … I just don’t know how long it takes, except that it had taken me thirty-five years to reach crew quarters at Merritt Island, Florida, and on July 17, 1966, I felt ready.
“we’re having a heat wave…a tropical heat wave…”
That’s a whole bunch of no fun. Stay in side and stay warm if you can.
Hey Wagglers. I’m spending a bunch of money stocking up on groceries, how about y’all?
I don’t want to infer that prices are being jacked up, but even though I buy cheap, I can’t seem to get out of the store without spending at least $40.00 three times a week. And I’m single.
Anyone have the same thing happen to you? Like maybe at the gas pumps?
yeah cant seem to spend less than 10$ for basic items at walgreens these days. they seem to have the worst markup around here. gonna be heading out to work soon.
