Something to keep in mind – Walgreens is one of the drug companies in trouble for opiod prescriptions, and they paid a hefty fine for that, so that’s where your mark-up problem lies, Breadisfunny. I try not to shop there if I can help it, but my Medicare plan is such that I often don’t pay a copay for my meds, so I can’t really totally avoid them. I think I need some of those “horse-blinders” or something, kiddos!

pork chops are like $3 for a pack of four. Couple of bags of frozen veggies, some bread sticks. A shaker of seasoning

I’m going pretty easy for dinner today.
Hamburger steaks and baked potatoes. Texas toast, and I may make a quick cucumber and tomato salad.

It’s pretty flash these days, designer USB/power chairs just about everywhere. Boring because well… I had a 12hr layover here today and an 11 hr one last night into this morning at SFO. Has been a rough 24 hours
(They also show movies on panels on the wall, when I walked past earlier it was midway through a Chaplin film, sry for typo’s…new phone)

I go to Dollar General sometimes, it’s pretty easy to pick things up cheaply there. You don’t have a huge selection, mind you, but they’ve got just about all of the staple goods.
We got TP there back in the early part of the Pandemic when both Walmart and Target had sold out.

Agreed about the dollar stores. It’s where I find the breakfast burritos for less than 2 bucks. Don’t usually eat bread, but today I bought a loaf and some sandwich meat (bologna) . Add mayo and mustard, and I’m good to go. I pretty much use my microwave for everything, so nothing fancy for me.
