I am not complaining about the mount. It is a work of art definitely worth 25 bucks. But there was potential for it in game. One time 25 or additonal players paying 15 bucks for 3 months completing the quest to get it. That was my argument.

I want to point out that when Warlords of Draenor went down to 5 million subscribers Blizzard freaked out and effectively canceled the expansion to rush out Legion, which they threw every fan favorite thing they could think of into.
- Class identity and questlines
- Illidan
- Ashbringer/Doomhammer/Artifacts
As a few good examples. If we had 1.7m subscribers in BFA, I don’t think they’d be praising BFA in their quarterly earnings reports, and would probably be freaking out much worse than WoD.

Well if you use gold, it’s cheaper than the Frog Mount.
Tokens are like 120-125k right now.
Need two tokens and will have 5$ left over, so your looking at 240k-250k gold.
Still cheaper than the 3,333,333 gold for the frog.

Bought mine with tokens, spent 240k gold, cheaper than the 333k gold frog mount.
The beauty about WoW tokens is that you can spend gold you saved/grinded up for anything in the store, you could buy BfA with them, you can buy WC3: Reforged, you can buy Hearthstone packs. You can buy blizz gear items from the store like the hearthstone pillow.
Which is irrelevant considering Blizzard is required by State Law to collect it for State governments.
Yup. Not to mention the first one was introduced 10 years ago… Sparkle Pony. And back then we bought them because they did offer an advantage… free mount, was all speeds both land and flight, and only took up one bag slot.
And was released on International Talk Like a Pirate Day. But you know no one ever accused conspiracy theorists of intelligence…

Same… a long time ago I was the 2nd person on my server to get the Winterspring Frostsaber and it was a challenge that took a long time. Now it’s a couple weeks of easy peasy dailies. (sigh)

Also, you pay for the mount and you get to keep it forever so… yeah. $25 bucks for a mount is fine.

Buying store mounts with gold is a ton cheaper than buying many in game mounts with gold.
This is just you wanting it for free. There are over a dozen new mounts in BfA already, go get one of those.

They need to put less on the store… If they put the best ones in store and s*** on in game mounts I’m going to have issues. I’m paying a sub, this crap should be included, I’m paying for continuous content. I shouldn’t have to pay extra for the best looking mounts.
Make this stuff in game obtainable through cool story/challenges (warlock green fire comes to mind).
I have to scratch my head at the outrage over this, in literally the exact same patch we have The Hivemind as a unique mount so its not like Blizzard isn’t making unique mounts for the game outside of the shop.

There is a total of 10 mounts in the store from over years of it being up, how much less do you want? There are 100s of mounts already available in the game, if you cant find one or two you like out of those then nothing is really going to satisfy you.

They even gave it a unique and special way of getting it, but far be it for these people to consider that, it has to be the mounts they pine for or nothing.

Guess you don’t understand the meaning of companies having multiple apartments for different things. Have you ever consider they may have some art team for Stuff in Box A while another for Box B. So if Box A was doing let say store stuff. Then they are responsible for Box A related stuff not Box B stuff.
So you want to throw a tantrum because a store mount isn’t available in game. So you gotta yell at the art team responsible. When they are doing their job which is solely for possible store stuff. Makes 0 sense.

Zero, I’m subbed. Instead of creating more store mounts create more armour sets so we don’t have to share crap.
I’m honestly okay with the current number but people are requesting more.
We need to stop encouraging it because in game stuff suffers. I am super tilted that armour sets are shared. Beyond lazy.
