Kick vote stays but remove the deserter thing.
Here is the thing everyone was a noob once. But why are you not showing her the ropes? Why are you not running with her?
Had a lvl 14 put dps meters in the chat after a boss kill and brag about his numbers
In a time walking dungeon
Like bro, whoâs sweaty at lvl 14. You just learned how to sit on top of a mount correctly
Thereâs no hope for this community
normal dungeons should be easier than timewalking that gives you a piece of raid gear for doingâŠ
They need something like the sprout and flower icons from FF to show new and returning players.
But WoW players are too kick happy to begin with.
I got kicked from my first ever dungeon when I came back after 10 years because I didnât know the direction we were supposed to be going. No one even said âhey, you took a wrong turnâ in chat. I didnât even aggro anything. Lol
And I got kicked from The Nokhud Offensive because every other group I had been in went thru the front. Then one group decided to go thru the back without saying a word and I didnât even know that path existed lol.
There are many many reasons folks get kicked. One of the typical reasons, had nothing to do with skill but simply a group wants to start, theyâre waiting for a friend. When the friend shows up they ditch someone. But I agree in principle kicking someone is a nasty thing to do. Itâs blind siding and doesnât consider that the one getting kicked is a human if you got the balls to kick at least tell the person. You got time to send a kick message you got time to be a decent person and say âSorry butâŠâ
The thing they need to do but the community hated is to reinstate proving grounds and make people get a silver before they can que for group content with that role.
It ensured people knew what their buttons did.
proving grounds didnât do a good job of measuring the minimum requirement to do a dungeon well and I know people who had been doing dungeons for years as their main gameplay and ended up quitting the game because they couldnât get silver.
Iâm not talking about TW, Iâm talking about LFR which they think new players should be allowed to troll indefinitely. They want vote to kick removed for new players in all content, thatâs going to give new players a license to troll. Or old players on new accounts.
Easy fix. Just have her communicate that she is new and still learning. Ppl will understand and help out. I failed at tanking multiple times and never got kicked because I provided advanced warning. Heck I sometimes try out stupid builds in pug content and did crap dps.
We sometimes forget there is another human on the other side of the computer. Itâs easy to kick a bot but less so that is communicating with the team.
Long story short. Communicate.
You guys make this too difficult. Any new player can go to group finder and make a group looking for players to help a new player run some timewalking dungeons. People with fight over trying to get in to help. That being said noone should be forced to take additional time to trach a new person.
If itâs not a mythic plus just announced you are new, most people will be cool if you tell them the circumstances. If you are just bad with no explanation no one will have sympathy
VTK in 5 man requires that at least 3 members agree. How is that not balanced?
What they actually need to do is institute a new players dungeon finder. That way when a new player queues, they will be placed in a group with other new placers and learn as they go.
Now is probably the worst time to get someone new into WoW. The community is as toxic as itâs ever been, raising hell over one missed interrupt because someone else decided to use theirs at the exact same time as me is just a small example. I would advise you to play something else with your friend. Escape the filthy attitude of the âcommunityâ which at this point has devolved into a colossal amalgam of craven, filthy little grubbers reaching for any scrap of loot they can get regardless of who they have to trample and piss on to get that +1 item level. Itâs pretty sad, really. The WoW playerbase has become as toxic and tryhard as a MOBAâs.
You want some suggestions? Iâve plenty of games that I like to play with much friendlier, more welcoming and helpful communities. And plenty of solo games, at that.
But, trust youâre not alone in being appalled by the attitudes at large right now. Itâs pathetic. People would rather sit there and cry and complain about people being bad without ever putting in time or effort to actually coach the people they cry about.
And if youâre one of those people, either give constructive criticism in a polite way, or just shut your gob and do that uber l33t DPS you keep trampling over everyone around you for. Especially given how piss-easy Timewalking is right now⊠because being spiteful and rude towards people because they arenât putting out as much imaginary damage as you in a fantasy video game about magical elves, dragons and fairies killing each other is just sad. Get a life. If youâre that upset about your time being âwastedâ, maybe go play a game you actually enjoy PLAYING⊠not getting loot on, but actually, actively PLAYING. because thatâs literally the point of games. To have fun. And you ruin it, not only for yourselves, but others. I just finished off GoW: Ragnarök, and it was such a thrill to experience that game, from start all the way to finish.
Of course. None of those threads are about timewalking dungeons. Lots of threads about how timewalking dungeons are over tuned and too hard thoguh.
Lots of threads about how timewalking dungeons are over tuned and too hard thoguh.
really? because iâve never seen them
Tank logged off and i didnt even notice lol i was just zonned in healing pt
this player had a tank log off in a timewalking and not even notice because timewalking dungeons are so easy.
You shouldnât have to have multiple friends in order to play entry level content. A new player should be allowed room to learn themselves. Itâs timewalkingâŠ
Iâm not explaining this 10 times. Look above.

Your friend is playing the wrong game if theyâre looking for a welcoming or considerate community
