Vote to kick must be removed to new players

Oh yuck… ragnaros…

Yea never mind. That explains everything…

WRONG

It’s all about your friends and the community you involve yourself in.
If you choose a toxic friend group/community, result, toxic outcomes.

I choose to be around super positive people that are ALWAYS welcoming. My friends list is full of veterans and noob players. I constantly get pms on silly questions, but they are new. I can’t fault them for not knowing.

But again, it’s the battlegroups, servers, guilds, players YOU choose to be around.
OP picked ragnaros. One of the most toxic servers out there, next to tichondrious.
Any serious players flinch away when they hear the server ragnaros. And due to it’s bad rep, people will usually be wary of said server when they see it in groups, but also for good reason.

Yea that is sad to read tbh. =/

ive seen quite the opposite actually, the tank tries to solo the dungeon and dies more often than not

I’m thinking this could work if there were some kind of mentorship option. Veterans who want to help newbies could sign up as mentors. New players could sign on for the help. It could be a box you click like clicking the leader role.

I feel this was one of the reasons why I feel like the dungeon finder was a bad edition overall.

Way to easy to just, churn through groups until you find people who aren’t noobs. Before, It took a while to create a group. Which was a deterrent to just randomly kicking people just because they were noobs.

It took a while to form one group. You didn’t want to waste energy finding another group unless people were actually causing problems. At the same time, there was less aunonomity back then to. You acted like a jerk all the time, well, you just formed yourself a bad click.

At the end of the day, some people are just terrible people. Long before the dungeon finder was a thing to. But I remember, there was a charm to playing, and learning. The common courtesy. Like, never click the dice button in a group unless you actually need the item. Always click the gold greed button. Was clicking the dice button for a while, but I learned the difference. But I was allowed to.

Some people are impatient to. Some people just refuse to learn. It was at least easy to blacklist people back then though. You couldn’t even name change your toons either. Once you started acting stupid and ornery, you were done. People would remember you. And you would usually only get into the groups of other ornery people.

I just feel like the lack of the dungeon finder encouraged a more intelligent audience to be playing the game at the same time. Homogenization in retail doesn’t help the case in retail either. I mean, when everyone can just perma spam their buttons all day every day, without really any fear of anything, it just encourages impatient and stupid behavior. Like, man, those healers better keep up with my enemy pulling skills. I gotta pull the whole instance in 10 seconds. To make room for my pointless quota.

I guess both the dungeon finder and lack there of had issues. But I remember far less toxic groups before dungeon finder than I did after. And homogenization makes it especially challenging for healers. Again, they are the only role to rely on mana in retail. And the average tank, doesn’t even want to give room or time for the healers to breathe. I will never, ever heal again. Ever. Pointless. Like yes you do get normal tanks. But pretty rare. Not worth the risk either.

It also perplexes me why blizzard starts all new players in BFA. Why not start them in the cataclysm 1-60 contant. Razorfen kraul. Zull furrak. Dungeons that have little to no mechanics. Just so the new folks can learn how to play the game first. I mean, good lord. Bfa dungeons have actual mechanics, and right now, you cannot ignore them. You either know them or you wipe. So why expect so much out of a new player right out the gate. Makes more sense to have them going through the lower level dungeons, like shadow fang keep or wailing caverns or something, than shrine of the storm or temple of sethrallis or something.

People getting kicked for not knowing the mechanics , route , or whatever silly action was taken.

People who wants to help the others also getting picked on and getting kicked from the party via PUGs.

The " we don’t want dead weight and we don’t want to waste our time " comment in this discussion

… Is this intolerance I see? I would really worry about that and the ToS , and I’m not joking around because this is really getting out of hand and we need an iron fist from Blizz about this.

That is a dumb take.
“You should go with a party of three to be able to do it comfortably”
How about the community behave for once and not sperg in lvling dungeons?

Bro if you think DPS matters in a lvling dungeon then you’re whats wrong with this community. You actually have the wrong opinion on this topic and i don’t care how mad it makes you that I’m telling you this.

Because its easier for some people to give in to their disconnected and sociopathic nature than to strive to be better human beings. Call these people out for what they are anytime you have the chance.

Best to not run in Pugs while learning.

Blizz needs to add a bonus reward for taking someone new FFXIV does this and it works well.

It doesn’t make me mad, I don’t know you and the way it currently works aligns with my view and not yours. The vote kick is passing so obviously the majority of the group doesn’t want them there. One person should not be able to hold a group hostage and troll as much as they want because they are new.

This exists. WoW has a guide system and I can generally tell anyone who hasn’t reached 70 on one character yet by a giant murloc above their character as well as in chat since I’m flagged as a guide from the embassy in sw/org

Why weren’t you helping?

Why would you not announce youre new? Contrary to what people might say you will get a lot more slack if people know it versus thinking you are maliciously wasting their time.

Im sorry but i cant take your replay likely. Its in are hands and the community to teach new players the game and help them understand. I do agreed that this needs to be removed. But i disagree at the same time cues what if u get a afk player. But enough said its are job. If i see a new player at at lest give them a chance and help them learn. This is are job as experienced players. If we dont do this then are community will not grow. We must show new player’s Positivity

The biggest prob with leveling through dungeons is the people that have to do those things for the weekly. They want it fast so they can go straight into keys. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone kicked for being new unless it interferes with the current tier rewards. Ffxiv does this amazingly well and shows were wow fell short. Not all wow is toxic and your friend could meet new friendly people in dungeons while leveling.

it was hated because it was terribly tuned. some classes easily passed it while others it was a struggle just to get silver.

Lmao that tells everyone what they need to know about what kind of person you are. You think that by simply being new someone is automatically being a troll and holding a group hostage. You’re openly telling everyone how much disdain for people you have never met and have done nothing to you. Continue to be mad for being called out and put in the spotlight.

So kick em even if they are trying but not executing the rotations to your satisfaction.
