Vote to kick exploitation

Gonna need on source on that. I’ve been pugging Timewalking for two weeks outside of guild runs on three different characters and have yet to see a vote kick pop up.

Because you cannot abuse the system. There is nothing to investigate.

We quote Vrak here a lot, because he said the same thing the support article said, only better:

This seems to have been removed. People have been testing it out and have yet to trigger this.

It needs to be put back in.

meh i blame this horrible community. u got ffxiv who adopted the same
system and its rarely in use, but i do think now ppl are a wee bit too kick happy nowadays in wow.
a necessary evil, that i still think should be/start at 15 mins.
30 anywhere is a bit too much imho and then let it stack after 15 mins to 30 and so on.

Didnt read the first post but i do know random kicking for no reason happens in the last 3 days ive seen people kicked for reasons that were

Reasons (actual reason not me listing reasons)

Bad transmog
Stupid name
Furrys vote trump
And a guy who got kicked when my levling toon should have because i pulled the extra mob accidentally that killed the tank
I didnt vote kick any of them

There is no “people.” It’s just you being hostile because no one agreed with you.

Your flawed assumptions and name calling will only get your thread removed by mods. That is how you ensure your feedback does not get heard.

Rule 101 of being polite and submitting suggestions - don’t get personal and don’t name call.

That’s pretty crappy if true.

I never agreed with protecting someone that gets kicked too much but using vote kick too often was a good one.

Please proof read. Not sure what you’re saying here.

Blizzard said we can kick people for whatever reason we want its not exploitation.

Ill take “Things no one believes on a good day” for $1500, alex.

I believe him. I’ve only been kicked twice.

It’s pretty easy to follow the group and keep your mouth shut.

If its not exploitative to be forced out why is there punishment for leaving with the same breath of order.

“Cuz I wanna”?

True. It is using they system as currently designed. People may not like the system, but kicking for any reason is what it is designed for, not “exploiting”.

I think the OP simply has not read the actual support article - which would explain why they mistakenly think that GMs are supposed to get involved.

Common Problems

* Voted out of group before I could finish quest

  • Removed to make space for guild member
  • Kicked from a Mythic+ group before receiving loot

Groups are empowered to manage their own members through the vote-kick system. If the majority of the group feels a player should be removed, they can initiate a vote-kick to remove them. The system is entirely under the control of our players. Players may choose to remove any other player from the group for any reason, provided the vote to kick passes.

Customer Support does not provide loot, gold, or quest/achievement progress not gained as a result of being kicked from a group.

If you have any feedback about the group management system and how you think it can be improved, please submit a suggestion in-game:

  1. Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
  2. Click Submit feedback or bug report.
  3. Click Submit a suggestion.
  4. Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
  5. Click Submit.

Note: Groups formed outside of the queue system (Guild Runs, Mythic +, etc.) will not utilize the vote-kick system. Instead those groups will have one party leader that controls who gets invited or removed.

In the last week+ I have run in the neighborhood of about 100 timewalking dungeons from napkin math.

I have seen two attempts to vote to kick, both failed.

Because voting to kick people for any reason is using the vote to kick system exactly as Blizzard intended how is this hard to understand

A vote kick out of a dungeon isn’t an action against your account. Unless of course there is another reason you made this post and thinly veiled it as a vtk thread.

That’s what now? The 3rd time you have used that term against a fellow player that doesn’t agree with you.

And are you showing your friendly side in this thread?

Not all of us are jerks to people in dungeon groups. There’s hardly ever a reason to kick people outside of that.

…The hell is hard to believe about “the one time I was kicked it was my fault”? It’s not exactly common to lie to take on extra responsibility.

I do dungeon finder all the time. There could be no reason. The person clicking accept didn’t want you there.

Thats how it can’t be abused according to blizzard. Group didn’t want you. Reason could be afk, trolling or disconnected, all the way to being a gnome or having blue hair.

Are you actually asking for people to be forced to keep someone in group?

Even ffxiv follows this rule. Even though there’s a selection, you can pick any and kick for any reason. It’s not against terms of service.

I actually do agree with you. Last time and only time I initiated a kick, all I did was type skdlsk or something random in the box.

But even a dropdown menu has the same effect.

We just can’t have nice things.
