Gonna need on source on that. I’ve been pugging Timewalking for two weeks outside of guild runs on three different characters and have yet to see a vote kick pop up.
Because you cannot abuse the system. There is nothing to investigate.
We quote Vrak here a lot, because he said the same thing the support article said, only better:
meh i blame this horrible community. u got ffxiv who adopted the same
system and its rarely in use, but i do think now ppl are a wee bit too kick happy nowadays in wow.
a necessary evil, that i still think should be/start at 15 mins.
30 anywhere is a bit too much imho and then let it stack after 15 mins to 30 and so on.
Didnt read the first post but i do know random kicking for no reason happens in the last 3 days ive seen people kicked for reasons that were
Reasons (actual reason not me listing reasons)
Bad transmog
Stupid name
Furrys vote trump
And a guy who got kicked when my levling toon should have because i pulled the extra mob accidentally that killed the tank
I didnt vote kick any of them
True. It is using they system as currently designed. People may not like the system, but kicking for any reason is what it is designed for, not “exploiting”.
I think the OP simply has not read the actual support article - which would explain why they mistakenly think that GMs are supposed to get involved.
Common Problems
* Voted out of group before I could finish quest
Removed to make space for guild member
Kicked from a Mythic+ group before receiving loot
Groups are empowered to manage their own members through the vote-kick system. If the majority of the group feels a player should be removed, they can initiate a vote-kick to remove them. The system is entirely under the control of our players. Players may choose to remove any other player from the group for any reason, provided the vote to kick passes.
Customer Support does not provide loot, gold, or quest/achievement progress not gained as a result of being kicked from a group.
If you have any feedback about the group management system and how you think it can be improved, please submit a suggestion in-game:
Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
Click Submit feedback or bug report.
Click Submit a suggestion.
Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
Click Submit.
Note: Groups formed outside of the queue system (Guild Runs, Mythic +, etc.) will not utilize the vote-kick system. Instead those groups will have one party leader that controls who gets invited or removed.
A vote kick out of a dungeon isn’t an action against your account. Unless of course there is another reason you made this post and thinly veiled it as a vtk thread.
That’s what now? The 3rd time you have used that term against a fellow player that doesn’t agree with you.
And are you showing your friendly side in this thread?
I do dungeon finder all the time. There could be no reason. The person clicking accept didn’t want you there.
Thats how it can’t be abused according to blizzard. Group didn’t want you. Reason could be afk, trolling or disconnected, all the way to being a gnome or having blue hair.
Are you actually asking for people to be forced to keep someone in group?
Even ffxiv follows this rule. Even though there’s a selection, you can pick any and kick for any reason. It’s not against terms of service.
