Vote to Disband

Because re-queueing is impossible apparently :sleepy:

Unless you’re playing with 3 friends who all agree to troll. Then it’s free reign.

Yeah, but there’s not really anything you can do about that unfortunately. If you lock the 4 players out of kicking then the lone player can do whatever they want without repercussions.

Might want to reread my initial post as I covered that there.

What you covered is that you want to be able to hold tanks and healers hostage to do your content for you.

Vote kicking doesn’t magically make finding a replacement tank/healer faster, the matchmaking system does. It doesn’t matter how or why someone leaves if the matchmaking system is doing its job.

If I wait in a DPS queue for content, why would I ever vote to disband? Getting rid of the problem player is so much better.

I believe you would have tanks and healers again trying to hold groups hostage if this became an option. ‘We aren’t moving until you vote the way I say.’

No-one is being held hostage. People can leave whenever they want to. Deserter doesn’t stop people from leaving. It makes people stop and consider if they have an actual reason to leave and if it is worth disrupting the group over it.

Not sure what point you’re trying to make here. No-one said vote kick makes finding replacements faster, and no-one has contested the matchmaking feature’s role in finding replacement players. So not really sure why you brought it up.

I like the idea of group disband with no deserter buff! Probably never happen though. Wish they would shorten the amount of time the deserter buff is. Also make it to where u can at least do NPC dungeons until it times out!

I did notice a few days ago the deserter buff from PVP is only 15 minutes. That wasn’t to bad. Had to que for Korraks to turn in a quest, so after i turned it in i left. I have no intense like for PVP i have only been doing it for tokens and badges.

I was being charitable and assuming you weren’t as toxic as you obviously are.

I used to queue heroics to help people steamroll quests and Glory achievements, but coercive attitudes like yours are why I stopped.

So enjoy your 30 minute queues because they ain’t getting any shorter.

sneaky trick to get folks to self kick. Disband? Yes! only you voted to disband, so you were removed from group.

awe
 :frowning:

hate to say it, but if this precludes me from getting the deserter buff when the group is too terrible to run with, i honestly wouldn’t mind.

I would imagine in the case of LFR, this would be a useless button. I obviously don’t know the metrics, but I’d bet that a majority of players aren’t backfilling the LFR raid.

yes.

someone who leaves queued content shouldn’t get a debuff.

you can thank these forums for the fact that they currently do.

You’re usually the one spouting off “but Blizzard said this, and Blizzard said that” to automatically disregard any arguments that people present. Weird seeing you advocate something that is currently contrary to Blizzard’s design.

right? I am capable of recognizing what the rules are. thanks for noticing.

A lot of the time, people who are
less capable of thought
are perplexed that someone can recognize and speak on how something is while not necessarily defending it or agreeing with it.

I say add a veto.
if three trolls can vote to kick ONE player should have veto power and be able to veto the kick when he knows its for garbage ‘reasons’ .

keep the kick, ditch the timeout.
If a tank doesnt want to be there I dont WANT him there ruining the run for the rest of us.

So, how does the system decide who gets the veto and what happens if that person decides to start trolling?

I have a feeling that this individual you replied to, hasn’t been kicked for unfounded reasons. The way the present themselves on these forums would be enough for me to kick them.
