You’re killing me.
If a vote passes, they have no way to know how you voted, so they can’t kick you for voting no.
I don’t know how to explain that any clearer.

I don’t have to gaslight, you literally said you were kicked by 4 other people lol.
That was not what you asked. I gave you the straight answer. What happened to you or me is situational.
Yet that is how I chose to respond. Good talk.
You won’t hear any argument from me, I’m just pointing out its intended use how players actually use it is up to them.

Why wouldn’t they know if they’re queued together and talking to each other? Do you not talk with your friends when you play with them? I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be able to figure it out.
Just got vote kicked on the last boss of a silent run in a leveling dungeon.
Everything was going fine, right before we got to last boss someone initiated a vote kick on another party member.
Their reason, at the end of the leveling dungeon right before the 4 seconds it takes to kill the boss was “bad.”
but but but…this NEVER happens according to the masses in here, lmao.
Player are abusing kicks. The cooldown in kicks is not helping.
We should just revamp it and see what happens if we completely remove it.
Then we can get real reports done and add a stack.
Eg : if me get into dungeon and I am also throwing the dungeon. I will begin accumulating reports. Let’s say 15 reports. Once I reach 15 reports the GM should look into it and if I am actually throwing. They should give me a vacation.
False reports should be held responsible as well.
AI could do this job in clearing out trash reports. Eg if a players is reported for no dps but the AI can check for average damage done and make the assessment
Why wouldn’t they know if they’re queued together and talking to each other?
Because the only information they receive is that the vote has been passed. So, as far as they know, you voted yes too.
Because if there are 5 people in the dungeon and 3 of them are in a premade group already that means the other 2 are solo, And if they tried and failed to kick jimbob and it failed to pass. That would mean they know the OP voted no otherwise it would of passed.
Never made that claim. I just don’t think it’s as widespread as some make it out to be.

Its impossible to abuse kicks. If the majority want you out, thats their right.
Make your own group or just reque
Blizzard needs to fix this nonsense.
Nothing to fix, it’s working as intended. People don’t have to play with you if they don’t want to.
You have any proof?
There’s several of these threads now and a good amount of people all saying they don’t see anything like this going on, myself included (and i’ve done a LOT of dungeons). I think there are more to these stories than people are telling…

Again.
5 people in the dungeon.
3 queue together
2 queue solo
1 of two solo que get a vote kick. That person doesn’t get to vote on their own kick. .
That leaves the only other solo que person to vote.
3 people queued together speaking with each other can deduce instantly who voted no.
There needs to be a daily cap or something.
Agreed…if one needs to kick more than twice per daily reset, they’re likely abusing the system and know it…and anyone who says them need MORE than a couple a day CLEARLY KNOWS they are the ones abusing the system. lol
I think there are more to these stories than people are telling…
This is almost always the case.
I’ve seen 1 vote to kick go out, in the maybe 50 dungeons I’ve run since launch. It failed. We finished the dungeon and that was that.
We should just revamp it and see what happens if we completely remove it.
The day it happens is the day groups are held hostage again, I’d love it.
Yes no problem.
The groups can now either disband and go solo or they can find a tank and sue as a five man.
