Just got vote kicked on the last boss of a silent run in a leveling dungeon.
Everything was going fine, right before we got to last boss someone initiated a vote kick on another party member.
Their reason, at the end of the leveling dungeon right before the 4 seconds it takes to kill the boss was “bad.”
I voted no, so I got kicked.
Blizzard needs to fix this nonsense.
I don’t doubt that this is an issue for some people, but I can honestly say I haven’t seen anything resembling an unjust kick in months. 
I’ve been playing this game for 20 years. I’ve been vote kicked once before this expansion that entire time.
This expansion has happened multiple times. I don’t know what got into people bonnets, but something has changed.
There needs to be a daily cap or something.
It’s bizarre to me because there’s so many people that swear they’ve only seen one or two votes to kick someone in their lives. But what you’re saying is true. I’ve witnessed it many times in groups having nothing to do with me. It’s not a me issue. I’ve been asked to kick people out of groups over and over again for the most minuscule stupid reasons and/or watching tantrums about imperfection.
There are plenty of ways to fix this, but Blizzard refuses to bend their design that might alienate this vile player base. They’re afraid of losing them.
Only seen one, and it was a tank who was being overly aggressive with their disparaging comments. We all agreed it was for the best to drop the rude tank and just queue for a new one while we sat staring at the final boss.
I usually get booted because people think I can control the loading screen and I was taking a few seconds too long, meaning I was clearly AFK. Happens in retail, happens in classic.
If you don’t doubt that it happened, then what exactly was your intention in saying that it never happened to you, with a weird little emoji?
I have yet to be kicked by any of the followers in my dungeons. But I always talk nice to them to make them feel at home.

… it was in beta 20 years ago. It came out Nov. 23 2004.
The rest of that is assumptions on your part and clearly you don’t care to have read what I posted, so I’m not clear where your conclusion came from.
And by multiple times, I mean I’ve seen vote kicks initiated multiple times. I’ve been kicked twice this expansion, the other time was because I didn’t release during a boss fight (lol how).
In 20 years I’ve been kicked three times. Twice in this expansion. I’ve seen more vote kicks this expansion than previously. Something is different, or it’s just a “you haven’t seen this before, no you have.” Either way, it shouldn’t be that way.
Just making an observation that I haven’t personally seen it. I feel that if it were widespread, I’d have probably seen more kicks by now since I’ve been spamming dungeons pretty regularly on my alts.
deserted debuff is coming soon, they say its for kicks but we all know they will apply it to people being removed, justly or unjustly.
No, but I lost out on the dungeon experience after healing the entire dungeon without any issues. Lost boss holds “all” the exp to make it worth it.

Unless they were in the same guild or on disc, they have no way of knowing you were the one who voted no.
In fact, it takes 3 out of 4 people to vote yes for a kick to pass…so at least 2 people voted no.

They were all together from the Dalaran server. And both of those situations are common aren’t they?
Even if that’s true, one of them voted no on the initial kick vote because it failed.
It was either random bad luck or they didn’t want you in the group for some reason.
