Vote kicking is out of control

Why is there even a kick option? That’s dumb. If someone is actually griefing, drop the game and get another one.

Ok ignore me, I haven’t been to bed in some time.

Right, i understand there being two votes but right here you said the first vote passed. If that’s the case then the group would not know how you voted in the first vote. So you gotta straighten out the story

Feel worse for what? Getting kicked from a group of randos? Who cares, just requeue lol.

That’s… not what… omg

They tried to kick another person before me. I voted no. So they vote kicked me instead. What are you saying?

Kicking you for saying no is a valid reason

You know what you’re doing, I know what you’re doing. I don’t know why you are doing it. You’re just in this thread making multiple posts laughing at me.

The first vote wasn’t a valid reason either. “bad” in a leveling dungeon that we were about to complete in 10 seconds? Please.

Actually I only made one, the rest was pointing out how the system is working as intended. Not only did the majority of the group want you gone, but it was literally the ENTIRE rest of the group that wanted you gone.

Because then 4 people would get the deserter penalty instead of the 1 who’s trolling or wiping intentionally. So it’s much easier to punish the 1 instead of the 4.

I got kicked out of heroics for taking a left turn and team went right.

When they went right. I knew oh **** I am getting kicked.

Sure did.

More and more community members are pointing out the flawed system that blizzard has in place. This is good awareness.

Anyone who got kick and he is confident he did nothing wrong. Should make posts and explain in detail. So players can see.

He deserved it, we know it, he knows it, we all know it

Gotta give Reddit gold to those cool guys who vote kicked

Ok. You’ve got to get your story straight. Did it pass or not?

If it failed:

2 of them in the “premade” group voted yes, and 1 vote no along with you. So they botched their own vote.

If it passed:

3 of them voted yes, and just you voted no. But they wouldn’t know how you voted so they wouldn’t kick you for it.

But it’s creating a tool that allows toxicity to take over the community. That’s the greater evil.

The overwhelming majority of cases where people want to kick someone, it’s because they’re not perfect. The person expecting perfection in a pug should be the one to have to suffer the deserter debuff, anyway.

Just sitting there griefing would be pretty rare in comparison

There was no reason for it other than to ruin the dungeon for both the people the vote was for.

Again, that kind of mentality makes people leave the game entirely.

its working as intended. If the majority of the people in the group want you gone for whatever reason, they have the right to do that. Just go reque man its not hard

Why wouldn’t they when they’re together? What?

According to the vote, you were ruining the dungeon for the rest of the group :man_shrugging:.

I’ve gone different directions or straight up gotten confused and haven’t seen a single kick to that effect either.

My question is, how did they know it was you who voted no? Did you say something after voting no? Because it sounds like even the guy you voted to keep in voted you out, so I feel like there’s more than we’re being told here.

No, I wasn’t. I healed everyone and kept everyone alive, the dungeon went perfectly fine until the votes happened. I only got kicked after I voted no on kicking someone else.

Gaslighting doesn’t work on me.
