The potential for misuse is still certainly there. We should not just accept the current system as-is. And further on in the next paragraph you’ll see…

We should provide a recommendation for how to improve the system, as it currently sucks when some chums vote-kick whoever they want and tag people with a debuff preventing them from playing content they want to play for 30 minutes.
Abusing the queueing system, this thread is about the vote to kick system.
You can, but this system has been in place for 15 years because no one has come up with a better one yet. They all think they can, but they don’t consider the consequences of the system they come up with.
Blizzard hasn’t fixed pvp either. They tried to bandage War Mode by acting like it’s world pvp , but in order for that to work the whole community has to get involved and not a small handful of players getting into pvp. That’s not going to work.
Blizzard also needs to fix that mess too. Not having faction wars in retail , another big issue. Killing off Horde leaders , another big issue. The list can go on and on …
Too bad there wasn’t a person that said " what can i do to fix your problems? " I would give them my big list. That person would say " Ok … I’ll be right on that. "
Until Blizzard stops creating a toxic game and catering to whiny players it’ll never stop. The 0.01% of the time that vote kick causes a problem is the least of my concerns.
I was one of the players who was crying. Blizzard didn’t cater to me at all. I got the boot for two weeks. 11 years ago my problem about pvp still haven’t been fixed.

Good to know your dungeon runs will never be completed cause your spending all this time kicking people cause blizzard says that famous line.
Blizzard allowed players the option to kick. Some players abuse this feature to kick others for malicious reasons. Therefore, this feature is being abused.
Rules change yearly. Cause of high turn over rate at Blizzard. They change people over like McDonalds burger flippers. They probably have to hire new guys everyday for retraining.
id be fine with that but stop giving people the leaver penalty for being kicked. Like this morning i was playing a heroic COT for a weekly quest my lock is 626 i can easily faceroll the dungeon well there was a 623 prot pally in there that didnt like that a 581 aug evoker joined with his elitist attitude he began trying to vote kick the evoker since he didnt feel that “trash class” belonged in his dungeon. Well i interfered by voting “NO” each time which kept the aug in the group so the tank decided to pull the entire dungeon trying to bully the group into kicking the aug well he forgot I am a warlock and we have insane health pools so i became a warlock tank and tanked the dungeon for him while pulling over 2 million dps. This is the kind of behavior that system breeds stupid elitists is all it caters to
It doesn’t make sense to impose the same punishment on someone who gets kicked as on someone who chooses to leave the dungeon. One person is making a choice, while the other is not.
This is precisely what people are doing, so as long as people continue to have issues with this system, people will continue posting their grievances in accordance with this blue post.
