Void Elves: We too have Blue eyes

Not disagreeing with you at all.
I’ve seen some threads from Horde being upset about this or that but nothing major, not saying there wasn’t I don’t haunt the forums enough to know it all.

One major thing I remember from Horde side was that the Alliance were given the Warmode 30% buff.

Shadowmeld. Anything alliance get, ever. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Weapon caches.

Speak for yourself, IMO we Horde get everything we ask for and more.

I am not a fan of void elves.

I have always seen them as a backhanded scraps meant to show the Alliance their place in the order of things. A second rate solution for a second rate faction.

And there will be more scraps, half solutions, bits of someone’s sleepy idea, that no one asked for, to short circuit some real request. Over and over you will see the dev’s willfully failing you to the tune of something meaningless that cost them nothing and, in the end, you everything.

For the Devs, the business of crushing dreams is just business as usual.

But, of course, for some of you, void elves have become a home. And there is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with finding solace and respite in something you enjoy.

Not all of us get to have that.

I am not a fan of void elves.

But you know what?

I don’t have to play them. Nor do I have to work tirelessly to take them from you. I don’t have to spend ghoulish thread space campaigning against something you want just because you want it.

I’m glad you have something you want.

It must be nice.

Ok. If you say so.

Ah, sorry if it came off as a bit snappy or a slap in the face™

This is true, I generally only complain about it when someone else says something ridiculous though like “Horde racials are better!” because they oh so blatantly and clearly are second best to almost all alliance racials currently.

Anyway, I don’t make threads complaining about how unfair it is and demanding it be changed is my point nor do I see any posters doing so either.

Makes me at times think twice to race change my mage to nelf.

Shadowmeld, have patience, shoot unexpected Greater Pyroplast when pvping XD

That’s an old argument, but they were strong as all get out long enough to start the mass migration to horde.

It’s been mostly balanced for now, but the damage it did still shows.

It’s fine. No offense taken.

My comment did come across like I did tho…but all good.

 I’m at the point where I’m just reporting these threads as spam. It was funny at first but now it’s just pathetic.

Just keep telling them the truth, eventually they might understand it, or blizzard will get tired of seeing 100 posts a day and start silencing it.

Ok so the Alliance got Borg Gnomes instead of full on robot gnomes.

Blizz is not going to give either side a race that doesn’t have some form of what one would consider actual human attributes like compassion , anger , fear ect.

Even the forsaken have what would be considered attributes where as actual full on robot gnomes are cold machines .

Edit meant for post above your’s my bad

I don’t think they were necessarily much better to begin with, in the past alliance racials across the board got very decent secondary stat buffs and almost all their primary racials got upgraded a little.

The primary issue was the top 1% of players trying to do world firsts found horde racials better for what they were specifically trying to do, world first content where they take any kind of advantage they can, even if It’s insanely small. Adding up a ton of small advantages is what helps world first players and it just made people mass swap to to the horde purely because of “the best guilds are horde!”

People actually using that as some kind of solid reason as “omfg horde bias” are beyond ridiculous. No, what people really should be complaining about is people mindlessly following what the top 1% of the player base does pretending like they’re even remotely the same type of people.

Truth.

I’ve always said, the faction imbalance would swing the other way soon as method/limit rolled alliance.

Look at how much stink the rerollers made over shadowmeld in mdi.

Play what you like, make it work. I’ve never rerolled due to racials, and my other characters I make are also because i like how that race/class combo looks.

Fem gnome monk powah!

It is annoying that everyone went one faction for BFA and we had to deal with one faction getting all sorts of unfair advantages an entire expansion to try and fix it, but honestly I think in shadowlands it could balance out a lot more.

A ton of people I know on the horde either switched to alliance this expansion or primarily started playing alliance characters and leveling them up due to how easy it was so the option to swap factions and play one side or the other is definitely a more viable option now due to the things that happened in BFA.

No it doesn’t. Back to Outland with them.

Its silly, but people are followers often.

  • We wanted Zandalari, we got Zandalari and they’re amazing.
  • We wanted Vulpera, we got Vulpera and they’re amazing.
  • We wanted Mag’har and we got them in three different flavors.
  • Highmountain are aesthetically underwhelming (limited options) but still have some of the best racials (easily the best among ARs from either faction). Lightforged are as limited in options and haven’t even got access to half as many classes as HMT do.
  • Nightborne are easily the most disappointing AR Horde side, but compared to diaper gnomes and kul tiran they look amazing.

Alliance racials are potentially better; dispelling a debuff in WCM as dwarf or dodgin Rezan’s devour with Shadowmeld.
Meanwhile you can get value out of half of the Horde’s racials by macroing them into your potion/cds.

Honestly, they could resolve this so easilly by just combining void elves and High elves into the same race.

Just have a toggle slider like upright orcs where you pick Void or High, Void is as they are, High changes the skin tone, removes the void tentacels from the hairstyles and makes the racial abilities have arcane partacle effects instead of void effects.

BOOM done, High elves on the alliance. Everyones happy

The only people who are against this are the people who simply don’t want Alliance to have nice things. Which sadly, seems to include the Dev team.
