Void elves can look like blood elves but not vise versa

That’s a pretty good perspective, honestly. Was thinking about Worgen, and how they have access to human customization on top of their Worgen customization. Not a perfect 1:1 since you’re only ever seeing human form while in town, or (if you use a new version of the BadDog addon) out of combat.

Calls 20+ skin tones and even trade for two eye colors.

Honey. If you are conflating the old pre-Thrall Horde with the current Horde then a majority of the Queldorei were killed by the Alliance because Arthas was the leader of the scourge and he was an Alliance human.

that logic works both ways :+1:

the trade was for only one eye color. The purple was given to both Blood and void elves because of a bug with the npc’s Them claiming purple was a trade for the skin tones is an out right lie.

Not all things are measured in numbers.

Of course you would say that and think that when you are on the side that keeps getting and taking from the other side.

Void elves also got blue and purple eyes soooo…

Blood elves got new customization like the dark/brown skins while void elves got some of the normal skin tone.

A trade wasn’t needed because blood elves got something new to compensate for losing losing exclusivity on a skin tone.

Void elves can also have darker skin tones sooooo.

What are you on about? Void Elves have all the normal skintones we have currently as well as all the ones they had originally.

Void elves unironically have more normal blood elf white/brown/black skin tones then they do actual void skin tones now that I looked back on wowhead again to double check. It’s hilarious actually.

My mistake. I thought the void elves didnt some of the newer skins. Quick check shows the blood elves have 16 options for eyes and hair. Void elves have half of that. That still give the blood elves more customization than the void elves.

If Blizzard was at all not idiotic the Alliance would have just gotten high elves and this entire debate should have ended then and there(we get high elves, the Horde get a totally new race).

I’d sure hope that blood elves have more customization than void elves. AR’s aren’t supposed to be stacked on customization options. You aren’t really making any sense.

If this is the case then this whole debate about void elves needing to lose something to the blood elves because it is somehow “fair” doesn’t make any sense. Implicit in this entire argument is that there need be some equal trade for the entire thing.

That logic doesn’t add up. The reason people bring up blood elves needing to get something that is actually of value as a trade off is because of the fact that void elves can have the same visual identity as blood elves. Something that shouldn’t be the case.

There is a LONG argument of how the blood elves should never have been a Horde race to begin with(and that if logic was at all a part of it and not the needed to balance the faction they should have never had it/had high elves as part of the Alliance). Also, the void elves do not have the same visual identity as the blood elves because they lose the two eye colors most associate with the blood elves. Namely fel green and the yellow of the new Sunwell.

If you truly are interested in “fairness” then you can have the void elf skins as soon as they get those eye colors/more customization options/more of the hairstyle of the blood elves.

This is irrelevant because Blizzard decided they are a Horde race, people like you that keep trying to push this at this point in time are just silly and make yourself look silly.

Void Elves are exactly that Void Elves, they don’t need to look 100% like Blood Elves because they aren’t us there is a difference whether you or other want to accept that or not.

Well now the void elves are an Alliance race again. So this whole “silly” argument has given the Alliance back what should have been theirs all along and Blizzard has indicate they will probably improve it in the future.

Blizzard disagreed and hence why they were given the skin tone. Seems like you’re the one making silly arguments after the fact. Not to mention they don’t exactly look like them because they dont have certain eye colors.

Yea the race that got left high and dry by the alliance after really bending over backwards to help the alliance during the second war should be an alliance race. Makes sense. Sylvanas sent the forsaken and her word to help the blood elves join the Horde. And the Alliance sent night elf soldiers to spy and even ambushed and attacked blood elves in the ghostlands.

Eyes aren’t distinct enough in my humble opinion and blood elves shouldn’t be stripped of so much visual identity that the only thing they have is eyes.

Assumption, nothing more.

They literally gave them the customization as a means of pacifying people like you because you think you deserve something so you wouldn’t flip out when we got blue eyes to complete the High Elf look but here we are and you are still flipping out so the problem is a you problem not a me problem.
