Void elves can look like blood elves but not vise versa

Your example isn’t good here because you’re equating racial customization to a race in your first example then racial customization to a class in the 2nd. Eye color doesn’t have anything to do with warlocks otherwise all warlocks would have a specific eye color (like DHs and DKs).

You mean I’m not a Priest just because I have golden eyes? How dare you!!! QQ. :yum: :yum: :yum:

They dropped new NPCs into the VE starting zones when the customizations came out.

Why? To bridge the lore.
Any explanation? No.
Surprising? No.
Is it lore friendly? Yes.
Is it deeply explained in the lore? No.
Are they going to spend much time on explaining? Probably not.

That’s what compromise is though. It’s not finished though, and I want them to see it through.

You mean I’m not entitled to more Sylvanas loyalist quests despite having RP tools in BFA D:

It’s almost like the devs wouldn’t care if that’s how I roleplay or think of my character but that doesn’t entitle me to anything past that if the story is different.

Just like HE RP options doesn’t entitle people to actual Alliance High Elves.

Then they’re blood elves, yes?

Because they call themselves blood elves and the difference between a blood elf and a high elf is entirely political?

I don’t want to hear it from the one that tried to use the Forsaken, a race that doesn’t share model with anyone, to try to explain why VEs’s being bleached makes sense.

But like it or not, it is an example of something that doesn’t make much sense within the canon that players can do to RP whatever they like and yet, it doesn’t make it official.

If I were you I’d watch it next time a blood knight crosses your path

Oh nice, I didn’t realize they had done so!

Auric is still a HE and resides in Quel’thalas does he not? What is his status

Is he still there?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure many would like to pretend he doesn’t exist (and you probably know why), but I’m not even sure where he is.

I agree with you fully here.

LMFAO! This actually made me laugh a lot, well done dearie. :joy: :joy: :joy:

Okay, obviously I need to watch my tone, because Residents of the Greater Silvermoon Area wasn’t silly enough.

Is there any Horde Aligned Thalassian calling themselves a “high elf”, or is that restricted to Alliance Aligned and Neutral Thalassians?

Genuinely a bit curious.

Last I heard of him, he had an Alliance BFA elf team for island expeditions.

Though what their relation is or what he’s up to, ehhhhh… No idea.

As per canon lore? None.

But then again we have one of the WORST writers ever currently in-charge of the lore (I mean, the dude took the whole “Red Wedding” context and made a mockery of it in BfA… also GoT season 8 was “brilliant” for him /facepalm.

No, if i understood correctly, she can´t think on lore canon characters that “returned” to Quel´thalas AND refused to be called "Blood elf2 but insist in being called “High Elf”.

When I figure out how to do it, I will lend to you my “Blood of the Highborne” Kindle copy. Believe me, one gets to ABSOLUTELY appreciate and understand why Kael´thas is such a popular character in the Belf playerbase.

I disagree with this too. For me, the CORRECT way to involve SL Kael´thas in the Sin´dorei story development IS by proxy of making him interact in SL with both Lor´themar ANd Rommath (those two are still hurting and there´s an issue between all three pending of getting resolved. All of those 3 character need CLOSURE related to their previous bonds).

That´s NOT because devs validate the canon coherency on an ARCANE infused FEL practicioner; is because WoW´s gameplay engine offers RACIAL customization AND TWO especific HERO CLASS customizations. DK and DH have limited customizations cause they don´t follow “racial parameters”, they follow “Class inspired in a WC3 hero character” parameters.

Hey, she´s using the smart approach!! the Light zealots WILL mistake her for a priest while she walks in daylight in the Bazar.

Now Naughty, try to NOT invoke your Succubus while at it.

The last canon lore scenario depicting Quel´Danas and the Sunwell has him absent, so as far as we are concerned we don´t know where he is currently.

I haven’t stopped eyeball twitching since the BFA intro quests, and I probably never will.

I didn’t think your tone was off to be fair, I certainly didn’t think anything of it were just conversing imo, I just think you might be overlooking the implications of HEs returning home.

We don’t know from what I’ve gathered what they would do or are doing in regards to their name.

So… is he stranded or something…?

I suppose I’m just confused by the insistence on calling blood elves high elves. When it seems like blood elves themselves have moved on.

But you can call them whatever you want, as long as you don’t call them late for dinner, do hoho!

He’s in the Lorehole with Skyguard Khatie and Jadaar and his blood elf buddy whose name currently eludes me, and I hope he’s having a great time.

Personally is NOT about is denying High Elves could be interested in returning to Quel´thalas, I just question if they can get away with correcting other people about them “not being a Blood elf”… seems QUITE tone deaf if they decided to rejoin their nation to “deny” ties with the inhabitants of the aforementioned nation.
