Void Elf Paladin - This NPC Needs Fixing

Oh man. Just imagining using Spatial Rift to dodge cleaves. There are more useful tanking racial abilities, but I’m not mad about it.

I’m just sad that the lore doesn’t seem to matter anymore.

I was okay with giving void elves paladins, but I wanted the class re-skinned to match their aesthetic.

As I said, a Void Elf paladin doesn’t contradict that either.

Alleria is not a normal void elf. She absorbed an entire fallen naaru. She is significantly more void-powered than the other void elves.

This is a game where the lore constantly changes to fit the changing gameplay

It is. Just as void elf itself was.

Expect void elf paladin in the next expansions, Blizzard doesn’t care about lore anymore.

Ofc this came from a void elf using dark ranger eyes

Actually he’s factually right, but you play void elf so I understand why you don’t care about lore.

Void can’t yield light, and vice versa. Alleria is a void elf, she can’t even get close to her paladin husband.

At least admit it is a lore breaking to please you false elves players, instead of trying to make your own headcanons for it.

Dude. In wc archmages could have 3 elementals out at once. In wc1 all warlock pets were temporary. There was more recent lore putting mage in the “pet class” corner at launch yet for some reason our dev decided to downgrade our kirin tor powers instead of making it fun to use.

Blizz doesn’t give 2 craps about lore, rarely has.

I don’t see how these things imply on Blizzard not caring about lore, it’s just class design. The day Blizzard give DH to something different than night elf and blood elf then we can say everything is doomed

Yeah I don’t understand the new generation’s obsession with pissing on established ideas and making a mess out of what was already good

They could retcon them and give their spells a Light Blue/Moonlight effect.

Forsaken, Void Elf, Night Elves, and Nightborne would fit that, for the latter they are “moon/star/dark light” paladins. For the former, like she says, she’s channeling the light through the void like a star shines in the night, would fit Forsaken to do that too.

Not always.

Cannon wise, only one great Undead channels the light (maybe the PC too?). Also in Azeroth, for instance, Shadow Priests are not all running around in the capitals showing who they are, same with Warlocks etc.

Class design not based on lore. Even in legion we had followers who got bonuses for taking elementals with them on the mission table and they’d display on the follower page for the follower. Could you imagine coming back in legion, doing all the fomo class things, thinking blizz cared about your class expressing its fantasy; only to be forced to take an overpowered passive buff for years straight and when they finally give your class a good looking at practically deleting it because surprise suprise people felt forced to take the op talent?

I get what you say, but the threat is about combining class and race. Was there any unreasonable combination back in the time such as a void elf paladin?

Depends on the capital, in Silvermoon It seems like it’s accepted

No, they are in Murder Row with the rogues for a reason. There are no canon Warlock Magisters as far as I am aware too.

There is a warlock trainer in front of Lor’themar’s palace’s stairs

Void Elf Priests have been using Holy spells for over six years, but a Void Elf Paladin is crossing the line?
