There’s also a confirmed Void Elf Darkfallen, so yeah the haters were definitely wrong from the beginning. Just took some time to actually add them into the game as NPCs.

Yup, her too. Those were the first things I observed during the quest. also, this means that the Horde(and Alliance of all race) have permanent access to Telargus rift. One more “home zone” available to both factions.

Can I actually go back there? I took the special portal but it disappeared after the quest.
Well, I finished the quest chain and left Dalaran/went back to Stormwind then went back to Legion Dalaran and the portal is still usable. I assumed the Horde would as well but maybe not/maybe its bugged. Who knows at this point.
Now if you will excuse me, I have bones to hunt in this horrible heritage quest for the draenei, sigh, I wish someone had tested it.

ETA: Yep it’s back. Must’ve just been bugged earlier. I did have to do the whole drop the quest and pick it up to get it to even work.

Ive been watching a lot of people ask for classes that should not be for years, and we all know we are getting them.
The community held nothing sacred, and Blizz holds nothing sacred. No surprise.

Hmmm her character talks about her light being like Stars at Night, when they can shine the brightest.
Maybe we’ll get more of an explanation at some point? Void Elf and Forsaken Paladins were coming at some point.

Alleria is also not the same as the other Void Elves. She absorbed an entire fallen naaru.
That’s a significantly much larger portion of void than other void elves who were simply tainted by void elementals, and that’s something y’all seem to like to ignore.
ALLERIA can’t use the Light, or be near the Light. There’s not been a single shred of lore written stating all Void Elves can’t.
Also, where’s your thread complaining about “spitting on the lore” when they allowed Forsaken holy priests and Lightforged Shadow Priests? cause this would be the same “contradiction” you claim to be annoyed with.

You don’t understand, the hastily-written Alleria short story from the phoned-in Argus patch is PARAMOUNT to ALL OTHER SOURCES and must be preserved at the cost of gameplay and player agency!

So based on all this I’m presuming the “blood elves should never have been horde!” crowd have officially infiltrated and hi-jacked the story. Doesn’t bode well for us horde in midnight. Was a fun ride fellow members of the red alliance.

I am torn.
Torn between loving this for the sake of just liking the idea of a void elf paladins.
While also loving this because I know it really ticks some people off.
Still waiting for my undead paladin tease Blizzard.

Paladins don’t wield the Void. They have never wielded the Void. The velf paladin in the new storyline uses regular holy spells, so no, this does not open the way for every paladin to get an overlay that turns their magic into an entirely different school.

Eventually. Blizzard said the plan was to proliferate all classes to all races. No ETA for it, but there was a Void Elf Paladin NPC added to Telogrus with the patch though.

This gives me hope, it seemed like they were done with trying to add any more race and class combos since our last update (locks i think?)
But maybe they are doing this to pave the way.
I seriously can’t wait, Pallies are my 2nd fav class behind DHs and I will finally be able to have an alliance pally I love
