It actually doesn’t mention when exactly the SC was established. Presumably it was after there expulsion from Silvermoon/just prior to BC.
Sure, lets bring up Arthas, you know the guy Ner’zhul wanted as a patsy hence why he made sure things like Stratholme happened.
There is no lore, one way or the other, telling us if they did or did not.

But did you change your race name? If so, that means you are a different race! Unless magic changed you physically, then you are not.
They’re elves. Aside from the nightborne they’re for the most part the same.
And that means they make for good kindling.

Only one lodge of elves have I seen any evidence of expulsion?
