You got that reversed.
Blood and Void Elves are mutated High Elves and thus tainted.
High Elves aren’t a sub race of their inferiors.
Lol, I’ve heard this multiple times before when people have said if Blood Elf model was given to Alliance population would shift, that if Void Elves were given Blood Elf skintones population would shift and finally that if Void Elves were given Blood Elf hair colors population would shift and they haven’t/didn’t, more people still play Horde and Blood Elves because we are the real High Elves not the wannabe second rated version.
People should really realize that most others don’t want to play Alliance, they offer nothing that actually counts outside of RPing aspect of game.
Amen! That’s my stance as well. A highly desired race and more lore to unfold.
Because people didn’t want Void Elves - they wanted High Elves.
Void Elves aren’t High Elves. They’re just mutated Elves.
See the difference?
Things you make up in your head aren’t real, they’re your imagination.
Void Elves are the Alliance version of High Elves, void tainted yes but still what Alliance was given by Blizzard, don’t like your version play Blood Elves.
You do know that playable alliance high elves would outnumber evokers of both factions right?
I still say we should have got the big beefy drake dudes and not these skinny ones we got.
Varian’s Voice FOR THE ALLIANCE!
I forever wil be Alliance dedicated. Horde to me is a buch of ogres in a mud bath. Why horde got Blood Elves over Ogres is still beyond me to this day.
Doesn’t change a thing.
There are more High Elves in alliance cities currently than Gnomes and Void Elves combined.
Players want to be High Elves. Not Void Elves with their ascent and tentacle jokes.
Ding Ding DIng! Amen brother, this is a very true statement.
Because we are the better faction, it’s why we have more population, endgame, PVP, etc. if I’ve learned anything from Alliance giving them anything cool is a bad idea they ruin it.
You can thank Blood Elves for that ratio difference.
Wrong.
Blizzard outright said many times they added Blood Elves because the Horde was extremely unpopular and had a population issue.
Blood Elves still to this day are the most popular Horde faction by a wide margin.
Alliance has their bargain bin version of Blood Elves and originally that was what Alliance players like you pushed that it would help your population, same with our customizations and it didn’t, people don’t want to play that side anymore.
Silly Blood Elf’s sucking up all that demon crack and turning gross
Death Knights already fill the niche of being the “shadowy” anti-Paladin.
Also, the Undead already have a possible path toward becoming Paladin through the advent of Calia Menethil being raised in the light. A scenario where Undead are similarly raised and trained to become Paladins is a pretty simple and plausible one. No shadowy visual embellishments required.
this is historically wrong. factions changed up during the MoP and WoD period due to many factors. One of those being racials.
That’s why I always supported removing Racials. It should be about the race fantasy not meta play. That’s just silly.
