Void Elf-High Elf Customization Thread

If you can’t see that Cerkov’s many replies were in jest then you’re being as uppity as you’re claiming others to be.

I always just find it fun to point out the irony of anyone posting the same ol defunct argument.

Apparently there’s an Allerian void elf having a good time at the SPA.

Apparently she uses BE voice lines, which throws a whole wrench to our common understanding of how to differentiate Blue Eyes Blood Elves and High Elf NPC’s.

We have a VE model, with the HE options, using BE lines. How can we determine concisely the intention here?

And thus what does that means for many Blue Eyed BE NPC’s if they could have been meant as Kirin Tor High Elves then?

I guess we’re at the point where all short elves have become a uniform short elf soup. A bisque, to be precise.

It really doesn’t matter in the end. It’s just an Alliance High Elf, done by a random developer who likely doesn’t care enough to make a clear difference.

I went to see this NPC, she has VE voices (French server).

Oh!

So then that confirms it.

There you go, Lightcrown. You finally have a Void Elf NPC with VE voice lines and HE customizations.

Happy?

It’s nice to see void elf NPCs with “high elf” and “dark ranger” customizations. :purple_heart: :v:

Oh interesting! I haven’t found her myself yet, but I was told she had BE lines.

Indeed then, this makes it the most likely she’s the first new VE with all three new customization options!

She has the same VE voices as this NPC for example.

Very interesting. Can’t wait to meet her.

I was hoping an Allerian style void elf would come with some meatier npc dialogue or mention to really focus on the concept of Allerian void elves being made but this is as close as we’ve yet gotten.

Hopefully Blizzard will add in lore for them to expand void elves concepts in no uncertain terms. (And give us a neat show of how we expand our numbers for both Umbrician and Allerian and a mix of the two formats.)

Indeed it seems Lightcrown can rest easy now. A void elf with all High Elf customization  !

A bisque sounds lovely!

I think so. All they ever wanted was a confirmation.
Perhaps now the user will understand that gameplay > lore was always a thing. The Mag’har Orcs have several tribes included in the race, so do the Darkspear Trolls and Dwarves.

I never had any doubts. As I always say, the signs were always there and the initial backlash was absolutely massive.

Sometimes I wonder if Void elves were the only good thing to come out of Allied Races.

I think all the Allied Races are good, I just think some should have been customization options. More options are good.

And Zandalari are just the best.

We always get what we want. That’s why it still gives me satisfaction that the Alliance got a bone thrown towards their face with the High Elves, for once.

Yeh. My two biggest “subraces” wants had always been High Elves and Krokul. So that we got Void Elves and Lightforged Draenei really felt very

Can’t say any of the Alliance AR’s excited me beyond the expanded customization choice (which I do appreciate) not like Zandalari, Nightborne and Vulpera did, cause they did feel like something new.

But yeah, at least alliance side there’s more choice, which balances the lack of anything new for me.
