It’s been this way for three years. People claiming they’re “Defending” Blood Elves…
Blood Elves don’t need defended. High Elves have been in the game since Vanilla. Blood Elves haven’t had some special appearance options that only the Horde has. The Alliance has had them wandering around forever. They just weren’t playable.
They’ve only been “defending” appearance options from players. Not appearance options the Alliance didn’t have access too.
I’m curious how it’s going to go now when we ask for a glyph for entropic embrace and hair styles. What’s the new argument?

I have no problem with the words themselves. I have problem with how you mask your meanings behind labyrinthine verbiage that serves no purpose but to obscure your meaning. If we are to speak, let us speak in common words, not put up pretenses and airs that get in betwixt the comprehension of both.

This was but an OBVIOUS result. So obvious MONTHS ago I pointed it when I mentioned ways for Belves to get compensated after loosing visual uniqueness (it was the happy time I mucnhed on the issue and the Blood Magic as a source for exclusive features came to me).

I´m perfectly aware, after all I´m 100% in favor of letting the VELVES get decent stuff and a much better narrative?
I literally went to Fen´s thread to bring my support to his goal even while I personally can´t care less If I try for Velves.
You are months late dear, if you think I´m gonna entertaing your weak bait attempt you need to improve your game.
Nowadays, we KNOW hair colors won´t be the way to differentiate between Velves and Belves. And considering Blizzard´s working culture around LAZINESS, Belf haircuts are more than guaranteed to become common ground between both races. Ergo, we Belf fans will needf some REAL unique stuff for ourselves.

They forgot (or never got, who knows…) the lesson about NOT getting their race killed in their persecution of “magical sources”.
See, as I told YOU half an hour ago, lore is NOT static. Is dynamic, which means the races and how they are portrayed EVOLVES. Were the Belves reckless morons at the start of TBC (especially Kael & Co.?) Sure. Were they AT THE END of TBC? Nope, lesson learned: practical resources can´t be used if they´re gonna get them killed.
How the devs decided that ERASING THIS CRUCIAL FACT in the Velf intro scenario was aceptable is mindboggling. It literally made a laughing stock out of Umbric et al, ffs!!! And I don´t think the Velf fans deserve to carry this nonsense polluting their enjoyment of the race just because the writers of this game don´t know the difference between pragmatic AND reckless to the point of idiocy).

This is what they’ve done for three years. Soon I’ll be gone again, after putting in some requests I check in on every so often. But they’ll be here. Fighting the good fight… against Alliance players playing something that’s been an Alliance race since Vanilla WoW.
They complain about “themes” but they’re not keeping that Blood Elf thread going. I wonder what will happen to Blood Elf customization threads now?
