Eh, that’s not a bout I’d enter personally but regardless, more diverse options within a race all around are all that I care about truly. Seems like Blizzard agrees there so far so that’s what makes me hopeful about hair color.
It’s why I’m not too arguing the same points over - I provide the WoW team statements that back up what I say and in-game pictures that back up the unique looks BE still have and will have despite if VE get blonde/brown hair color.
Sure, but it’s trying to push if a few similar shades of brown/blonde are given that the “races would look practically identical” which is a false narrative.
Especially when looks like those exist on BE only and VE can’t replicate any of those looks.
I’m down with that idea sure. My point this entire time is that no race has unique access to brown/blonde/black/white shades of hair color, so anyone trying to attempt to bar that from happening is being ridiculous imo.
You have a bad habit of filling in blanks that aren’t necessarily there. Devs say they changed up the starter experience and added some extra options to allow you some touches of backgrounds, and you turn that into some sort of confirmation that they’re definitely going to cater to you at the cost of others. There’s some use of wiggle words like “might” that you’ll turn into “definitely”.
This all just takes me back to when I started posting in these threads in the first place. Where someone was trying to shame people away from advocating for what they want by posting a link to a blue post saying that it said that there was a ton of support for high elves in the forums. When you clicked the link, the blue was responding to a request to delete the threads by saying basically they weren’t going to delete the threads since a ton of people were active on them.
You still didn’t look at the link lmao. It’s literally a photo of different BE customization in-game right now that VEs can’t replicate. There’s no ‘Devs say’ in there anywhere.
It’s a picture of unique BE looks that you still are not engaging with.
It’s a red herring I’m not going into. I said that what you’re asking for is giving you a practical duplicate of a horde race and it still is. Just because you found a few options that look different doesn’t mean that giving natural hair colors won’t let you make something that looks like a blood elf for all practical matters.
This is what I mean by sweeping by the context instead of engaging with it. You have proven my point for what people that want to limit HE customization on VE do.
Maybe engage with the context of my argument for a change. Because all you’re doing is throwing out distractions from my point to try and change the subject and declare yourself a winner.
It doesnt need to directly say it. The infusion of magic doesn’t always make changes, which can be seen in death Knights and demon hunters who can already look like a completely non infused version of themselves minus the eyes. The same is clearly present with Alleria, and slowly happening as new options are given to Void Elves. Them being infused with void doesn’t change them from having the blood elf hair styles and colors, especially given that some hair already has no tentacles and void shimmer. It also doesn’t stop then from manually replicating it themselves.
Some people latch onto the ‘it wasn’t explicitly said so it can’t be true!’ just so they have a few little remaining legs to stand on. But the waves of reality are going to arrive at some point so I guess they can enjoy it while it lasts?
