It’s a common misunderstanding…
I think it’s how it’s mentioned in the book.
Does still count though.
I believe there is also one in a comic somewhere but I’ve not yet relocate that source.

I mean I’m asking for Kul’Tiran assets or diff shades if it bothers you guys so much, but even that seems to bother y’all. Compromising is a two-party system, if one side doesn’t want to compromise…well look to the blue eyes and human skin tones for where Blizzard decided to head.
I mean if I want to play an elf that looks similar to Alleria or the other various High Elves on Alliance I just mentioned, then yeah it being on Alliance is needed. [Disclaimer: we don’t technically need anything since this is a video game].
So there’s stuff you don’t think Blizzard should’ve done (I believe you were even advocating them to not add those things before they were added) and they went and added them in.
I guess maybe I can look forward to seeing Blizzard add more things you don’t think they should.
It doesn’t ignore their story at all
something that is practically indistinguishable, please stop pretending everyone doesn’t realize that.
Well, so far too bad, so sad, you’re just 95% of the way there. Be happy and stop trying to take everyone else’s toys.
Yup, Blizzard does seem to give the alliance what they want when it damages the horde.
The blood elves are the story of the high elves, the rest are footnotes who couldn’t let got of the past.
Loved those, wish for them as well.
This kind of skin tone options would be neat as well:

If we’re being honest, the blood elves couldn’t let go of the past so much they literally changed their name to never forget
If we’re being honest, I’m convinced you got that name the same way a big guy gets the name “Tiny”
That would be incorrect, I’m a loremaster in the flesh.
I’ll ensure you and others do not misrepresent it, no matter what.
yes it does. the story is high elves are blood elves. thats the high elf story. its not stormwind has a mage trainer or that the sc members of dalaran who when waiting for a mission from the kirin to put their uniform on, serve as trash pick up, cleaners, cooks and food/drink servers(someones gotta clean up the bathrooms right?)
Void Elves are also part of that story, and they too are High Elves.
You forget that all important Free T-shirt Day npc.
please stop pretending everyone doesn’t realize that.
Like I’ve said before, trying to gatekeep all shades of a brown/blonde is silly when 21/22 races currently have them. Not sure how much people arguing that believe it will hold up when AR get their customization and Void Elves get their update.

I am happy, asking for more doesn’t mean I’m not. People don’t only ask for things when they’re unhappy or something lol, people always want more. People are still asking for more customizations on Humans/Night Elves/Blood Elves, the races that already have the most options.

Nice, should reverse a lot of the horde favoritism they’ve been doing for years! /s

Lol, too funny.

It seems all irrelevant NPC’s always come into play when it’s convenient to them, they just tend to hone in on the Mage NPC’s which is why people like Mag point that out.
Blizzard is choosing to use high elf NPCs where they could be using NPCs of an actual, playable race.
Indeed! I actually posted it in Fens Void Elf thread, along with some concept art I found for Neon tattoos for Void Elves;
Posted these in another thread, but I wanted to provide these ideas for this thread as well. [image] [Album] imgur.com [imgur.com] [image] The primary focus of these pictures is hair color and how natural colors could be implemented while still adhering to the V…
yea 6 since the game launched in 2004 that also canonically get mistaken for blood elves because of their elusive, almost mythic, status
^-^
Assuming that’s right, that’s still real estate they chose to fill up with a randomly generated high elf NPC instead of a gnome.
They do that with lots of NPC’s that doesn’t mean every race, class, etc. needs to be playable.
Especially when they are already playable on the opposing faction as a Core Race.
GURL.
You know I think every race needs to be playable.
…Less so with classes, but that’s just my personal tastes.
Like I’ve said before, trying to gatekeep all shades of a brown/blonde is silly when 21/22 races currently have them.
And like has been mentioned endless times before, that’s a dishonest take because it skips over the whole fact that it’s the last thing keeping void elves from being the only race not introduced as neutral that can look practically identical to an opposite faction race.
people always want more
And we can’t always get what we want. Look at those of us who don’t like this game design decision.
Nice, should reverse a lot of the horde favoritism they’ve been doing for years! /s
You mean the thing alliance made up when Cata hit and the game wasn’t predominantly centered around them any more?
