Don’t you think we need to evaluate how ‘unfair’ it really is?
Blood Elves aren’t being removed from Horde. High Elves have always existed on Alliance. Players in substantial numbers have wanted HIgh Elves on Alliance. Void Elves exist on Alliance who are Blood Elves.
Considering all of this I find it something of a stretch to say ‘unfair’ when all that is in fact being ‘lost’ is Thalassian Elves having the unique options of normal skin tones and hair on one faction only. Tell me, who is going to stay awake at night for that?
Blood Elf players who are complaining now within DAYS of Shadowlands won’t care one iota.

I agree with the rest of your post, but I do understand those Blood Elf players complaining about the quality of customization options so far datamined.
Jewelry is fine, sure, but there’s no wow factor revealed, like with Night Elves for example.
Let’s just hope Blizzard is listening to their requests and implement Darkfallen themes and tattoos at the very least.

At this point with a discussion like this I almost feel that we should be campaigning for Blood Elf Identity topic.
As much as our BE identity is being given to the alliance it would be nice to know if we could still at least protect more of what we have.
Yes, they are quite welcome as I see it to request more options-- but that hasn’t really anything to do with Void Elves.
Well, I’m very excited about new ear length options.
I think all the non-human races need more face options. Eyebrow length would be a nice addition to all elves.

Blood Elf identity is FAR more than how they look. History and allegiance in fact have always been what makes them unique, because the race has NEVER been Horde exclusive.

Where do they get conditioner in Azeroth?
It wouldn’t be that bad that void elves get more darker tones, not blue-greyish. But dark thick black hair, purely grey hair, or even white hair.

There are dozens of options for hair colors they could add for void elves that aren’t a copy of blood elves. Ombre hair would add a lot of options, like blue at the roots but turns white at the ends? That would look cool

And they could have more tendrails options, and make them optional. In some haircuts those tentacles seems very weird.

I love the Ombre idea. I’ve seen more than one piece of art with a Void Elf with Silver hair that ends in blue. This would be a great adaptation in general.
A lot of people have requested a tentacle toggle, ranging from no tentacles to not only tentacles in the hair but on other body parts as well.

People are being way too ridiculous about the blood elf/void elf hair issue. Fact is that the blood elf females are getting rubbish for hair styles. They’re egregious at best. For a race that has tenacity with a side of vanity all of the hairstyles are nowhere near lore friendly, immersive or even look nice. I’m guessing because the devs are “pro-horde” they want to make the “pretty” race suffer and give the females the worst looks in the game in hopes of turning people off to playing them. As a woman who had cancer I can tell you the pure bald elf is an affront- when I was going bald I had a beautiful bit of peach fuzz over my head and I looked pretty “metal” (as metal as you can get for having chemo anyway).
Give females proper hairstyles. Give men beards. It’s okay to have fun in a video game.

PS- I’m all for unique hairstyles for races, which is why I’m tired of recycled nonsense!

Void Elves for sure need:
-Black hair, not dark purple.
-White hair, not light gray.
-Ear sizes. Alliance High Elves would have greater potential for half-elves in their ranks than the Horde would.
-Blue or purple underwear on non-voidy skin tones.
-Blue or purple nailpolish on female non-voidy skin tones.
-Alleria color Entropic Embrace (photo-negative style, not shadow form version 2).
VE could also maybe get:
-Blonde hair, a different shade from BE. Could have void color streaks running through or something.
-Void tattoos
-Option to turn off void hair tentacles.
-And/or option to turn tentacles into braids.
-And/or transplanted human/Kul Tiran hairstyles.
In exchange, Blood Elves should for sure get:
-Red eyes
-Ghostly white hair
-Vampire skin tones
-Forsaken hair styles
-Arcane tattoos

In my opinion, i do really like the option that female blood elves are gettin’ even the bald one.
I always wabted to have a human female monk like with her head shaved. And a female dwarf wit her head shabes to be a barbarian tipe, with their new tattoos

The hair “styles” aren’t actual styles, though. Other than the tiara ones, they are either missing hair, have the top part of the hair style removed so only the undermesh is left or a couple were taken from other races. None of them are unique the way the other hairs are. I’m fine with bald, but it doesn’t make any sense to be without hair and no stubble or at least with a stubble option. I also find the ponytail physics to be obnoxious

On that note… I think there is a difference between shaved and full on bald. I think females with 1-2 inches of hair looks badass and I hope we can get an option like that, for elves and/or humans

Yeah exactly. The straight up bald just looks lazy not “Hey, we believe in a woman’s right not to have long hair.” Or whatever their reasoning is. None of the hairs are unique which is really frustrating. Again, I think it comes down to the fact they don’t like “pretty” races for the Horde and I find it annoying that they’re the ones who put the high elves with the horde in the first place and didn’t have to. It’s like when they added in the gnome pigtails. Like, really? Your snobby lore race is walking about in pigtails?
So I dunno, at some point they should seriously consider why they’re making some terrible hair options for the blood elves. The void elves, however, have gorgeous hair as it is. I can’t wait to see the other options that unfold since that team obviously doesn’t have a problem with the race.

People, esp ally it seems, will always find a reason to whine. Can tell blizz meant for them to be well thought out and original just by their /dance. No factions? So how do bgs/etc work? I have to kill a guildie bc he is on other team randomly? If you dont like the game, dont play. If you play, stop whining. Simple. Stop expecting to be catered too, blizz isnt your mom.
