The Alliance has nummow all their WC2 races back.
Thorde dosen’t get their Forest Trolls back. Not even a simple green skin option.
But You are still asking more.
I was fine with those requests at first. Even thought it was going against the Blood Elves and I don’t like that.
But after how shafted Trolls were and you simply asking for Blood Elves, no. At this point Helf threads are spam.
Core races should be now done first.
My main is horde but I ended up picking my goat for the avatar here. There’s no whining, there is, however, a complete shock over the sheer lack of options being given. Some races are getting nothing new at all and I’m the kind of person that when I do something I want to do it well and do it right. When designing games, or mods, “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander” is the best way to go about it so that people have options and choices. The lack of unique for some races is glaring, it’s telling. It’s not a whine, it’s a “wtf o.O?”. I hope that helps ease your perspective.
So you fully think they were intended to be so original? Have you seen their /dance? Doubt your main is horde. I have both, and there is a VAST difference is the type of players between factions.
One now has two visual themes added to it during core race customizations period. And the core race being the other option still only has one visual theme to it.
None of BE player asks have been implemented past blue eyes, no Farstrider tattoos, box art runic tattoos, scar options, Dark Ranger visual theme would be easy with Velonara to use as lore citation. They added jewelry.
The skin tone diversity is amazing but their giving it to Void Elves as well as a non Void second visual theme.
Apparently Void Elves are being given jewelry as well.
Yeah Blood Elf players have valid feelings on this and are and have been giving feedback. What is your point?

I am horde, always have been always will be. You can find the original Legionnaire rank in my profile from pre-bc. I’ve also dabbled in game design and mods and I’ve played a lot of other MMOs by where races are rarely gated as hard as they are in WoW. In fact, WoW is the most non-diverse MMO on the market with a distinct lack of options. That’s not a gripe, it’s a fact. I can be put off by their lack of new options- when you compare to the other races getting brand new meshes and the original artwork and game design for blood elves clearly showed flower crowns, sweeping updos and long ponytails and hair… it’s a bit sad don’t you think?
Why envy us so very much? Lmao. Typical ally. Should, just to be fair, my druid be able to wear the dh appearances that are special to dh only? Hmmm…maybe all leather wearers should complain. No? Why not? Because how does it even matter? Grow up children. No reason to have different races if all are the same…maybe we should all have the same racials? That’d be cool…and each class should have all specs–heal, tank, melee, and ranged. Makes as much sense as you whiners.

Envy what? I can’t have characters across both factions? Who’s the child now, in here picking a fight when it’s a discussion about the lack of options for races when they have been hyping up “new customisations” but they aren’t new at all. And what the heck does it even matter which race I play most or not at all? That negates an opinion? It doesn’t, but you knew that already.

Originally it was going to just be the original races who were getting customization with the Allied races getting customization in further patches.
Then they opened the flood gates with Void Elves and now customization is being spread thinly across all races.
I’m curious to see what customization we will be getting in 9.1+
I dont need luck, or mommy’s card. And yes, you all are quite obsessive. Played both. There is a HUGE difference in the players from one side to the other. If you have played both, for as long as you say you’ve played (and mained horde? uh huh), you’d have noticed. But you haven’t, which is quite telling. Difficult to get hordies to listen to your whines? Imagine so, most of us dont play well with tweens.

A person who consistently brings up insults as a way to “win” an argument is usually found to be projecting. I’m not sure where this “mommy” bit is coming up although yes, I am a mother. My actual mother is dead. So is my father. As I said, you’re free to look at my achievements as you see fit. I picked my goat because I wanted to. It’s just an avatar and not inductive of what I do with all of my game time, which, is whatever I want it to be. Playing one side more or less doesn’t negate a simply opinion which is rooted in fact: blood elf females are only getting 1 unique hairstyles, the rest are recycled meshes.
There is no reason not to have the same hair options as Blood Elves, Void Elves are a copy paste of them, everything about Void Elves is the same apart from the voice. They even have the same dance.
I agree. No reason not to share the love all over That’s what I’d like to advocate the most is that most options should be freely shared! There’s no reason not to right?
I would love to have these color options for Void Elf Hair.
But I would also like to have Hair options with Void colored highlights.
I don’t think they’re finished yet, we just saw an unexpected wave of additions for Mag’har that gave them options like standard orcs, so i think they will get to void elf hair colors in time.
The streaks of color highlights would be a great toggle-able option in natural hairstyle choices for void elves. Having blues, purples, and green streaks could serve as a way to show small traces of void taking affect within the individual without being completely blue.
